Very friendly and helpful staff. This place has everything, I came for a light bulb and stayed to browse. Maybe it's just me, but I had fun wandering the seemingly endless isles of stuff. Felt like I was back in my grandpa's garage rummaging through all his tools, bits and bobs. A great way to kill an hour or so in the afternoon

Had a plumbing issue and wasn’t sure the proper way to deal with it. Staff was very helpful with recommendations. They took the time to listen to my issue and offer multiple solutions. I’ve never interacted with a gentleman at a hardware store that seemed to genuinely care about their job. Will definitely be back.

I am so glad to find this place! Love to support local businesses! I made two copies of keys for just $3.5 each. It’s fast and convenient. They sell a lot of household essentials, which is super convenient for us living nearby. The prices were good enough consider that we get our goods right away (and don’t need to bring boxes to the recycle after). We will shop there more often!

What a beautiful selection of Lamps they have at Basics. The prices are fair and the quality is amazing. The desk lamps are so modern and is going to look great in my room. Ema was so great helping me always with a smile. I will definitely come back to shop here again.

Wow! Two very neat and organized floors of just about everything a well stocked, beautiful and clean
hardware should have. An exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable and professional staff is there to answer questions etc. most notably, Ned who is running the show on the lower level. He is extremely helpful, kind and a real gentleman.This place gets a perfect 10 and Ned, an 11. THE BEST!

This store is amazing they have everything even one the best MACE brand defense spray on the market at a great price. Go check them out because you need to be able to protect yourself on the streets these day. Also great customer services and friendly employees.

This is the most organized and sophisticated hardware store I’ve been to! It’s a pleasure to shop here, they have an amazing selection of everything you could possibly need. And the service is helpful and kind, a true neighborhood gem!

I live within close proximity and every worker in the store has been more than kind when it comes to the sections in the stores, the best and or most affordable item that I’m looking for and their customer service. I don’t frequent their highly however knowing that there’s a place near me compels me even more knowing that they sell items that are useful to my living space and makes my life even more comfortable and productive.

I often shop here. They have many different items. It is rare not to find what you are looking for and a senior discount too. The staff is always helpful and very courteous. Today is an extra thank you. I left my wallet. I went back and the manager had put it aside for me. Another 5 stars for honesty. Definitely recommend this neighborhood store.

LOVE Basics Plus!! Staff are really sweet and also super knowledgeable! They are open til 10pm AND they deliver! I could not have done my apartment renovation without the friendly help of the awesome people at Basics Plus. Also their stock and selection is fantastic! Every time I think to myself that what I need is super random, they always have it!! Big ups to this wonderful store and employees!!

I am surprised at some of the negative reviews. I have not had any service work done at this store. What is great about this store is the selection. They have a great number of hard to find household care items. The only other place I know of in the city to get most of these items is gracious home. Every time I go in someone asks if they can help me and the salespeople seem to have excellent product knowledge. I don't want to invalidate others experiences but I have always been very happy with this store in all aspects.

Recently moved to the area and this place has been VERY convenient. They have SO much, and it’s well organized, and the staff are incredibly kind and helpful.

Place was really well-organized, well-stocked, staff was helpful and nice. And it’s open late on weekends! Life saving, truly. And it has a great array of kitchen and plant basics!
