Being in such close proximity to chains like Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods, this store basically catches people who don’t want to walk a little further for the above mentioned chains. It’s convenient and they keep it clean. Kind of pricey but this is the upper west side and the demographics can well afford it. Not sure what the policy is but the clerks always welcome me and mostly with smiles. Nice people. Ms. Cook in the deli section makes really good sandwiches and I’ve observed her clean the slicer before and after using it. The deli offerings don’t offer anything special but they’re mindful of vegans and vegetarians. That’s awesome. i love this location. recently renovated and super clean and good. darnell (checkout person) is always sooo friendly and warm and a pleasure to deal with. this gristedes location is fantastic. thanks darnell for making this experience so nice.

I Went there this morning! N I Loveed it there! The pl were very professional and respectful! Luz was also great! They have everything you need and more! N now it is my favorite Supermarket!

This is the cleanest grocery store in the area. The staff are phenomenal and hard working. Ignore the haters and shop here! Produce is always fresh and of great quality. You get what you pay for!

For some reason i find it hard to find a single place to go to to do all my shopping, but here is where i finally find it. They got a lot, fruit/veggies, spices, cooking utensils, meat, alcohol, and a deli. I recommend taking a look for any food related item you need.

I always find stuff I want here, at affordable prices and products are of standard quality. the staff are great. Very pleasant experience in general.

Like this store, It was there since I remember, it's clean and good organized, it's not cheap though.
