Big Chile Inn & Suites

Will be spending a couple of weeks here in the near future. Stopped by to take a look, was met by Anthony in the lobby. Anthony was friendly and took time to answer my questions, show me around, and offer me different options.
The Big Chili Inn & Suites is an older establishment, but it appears to be well maintained, clean, and secure. And all at a great price.

Absolutely stellar experience at Big Chile Inn Suites! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome. The hotel's modern amenities, spacious rooms, and attention to detail exceeded my expectations. The cleanliness and comfort were top-notch. The Big Chile Inn Suites team goes above and beyond to ensure guest satisfaction. A fantastic stay, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting!

We're doing extended stay, so we got a room with a kitchenette. It's lovely to have a full size fridge, microwave, kitchen sink, and counters.
There is a wonderful koi pond and gazebo right outside our door. The sound of running water from the stream is soothing.
Staff are super friendly and helpful (shout out to Franklin - 👍👍) and just today there were tons of bags of russet potatoes in the lobby for the patrons to use. I enjoyed a baked potato for brunch this morning.
Grounds are secure and clean. Many security cameras around the site that are monitored in the lobby. The staff keep transients off the property. The gates to the back parking lot are closed at 10pm to keep the area secure.

Mariah was our check in person. She was very attentive, helpful, and really went above and beyond for our short stay. Her ability to relate to us on a personal level really made us feel welcome.
Our room was fine, cool, and a place to rest our heads for the night and we’re not too fussy about any “extras”. This is a budget friendly option, so you get what you pay for but if you’re not planning on spending your whole vacation cooped up in a room, it’s a fine place to sleep and leave your luggage safely secured.
It doesn’t matter much to us, so I didn’t deduct any stars for it, but the tv can be quite fuzzy from time to time and our shower looks like it’s about to be renovated but the water was hot and the pressure was good so no real complaints here.
It’s great for the price, the surrounding area is more hotels and some light industrial but nothing that looks unsafe by any means. There’s gas, convenience, a little pastry shop, and a pharmacy within like a mile. The parking lot is closely monitored and has a sliding gate at night for a little extra security. All in all we were pleased with our stay and will likely return when we come back through Las Cruces

It's pretty secure here despite the location. It's gated and there are cameras everywhere. I love their koi fish pond. Although the laundry is a little pricey.

We found this place while looking for a cheap place to stay until we could move into our new apartment in Las Cruces. The first impression, apart from its very low price, was how very pleasant the people who now run it are. The next impression was the courtyard / atrium, which is quite a little oasis, with a swimming pool, a carp pond, a waterfall, a gazebo, an arbour, three grills, and lots of other tables and chairs to sit at dotted around. There are also artistic touches throughout.

Our room is specifically for pets and is thoroughly pet-proofed, and massive, overlooking the courtyard. I cannot speak for the wifi - often a problem even in the best hotels - as we now travel with our own.

I am writing this review while drinking coffee in the gazebo in something of an oasis in the desert (literally). This is not a prestige area of Las Cruces, but I would put it up with Josefina's Gate in Mesilla for a cool, funky atmosphere.

Highly recommended.

I stayed at the big Chile Inn as an extended stay for 3 weeks. Reasonably priced. Very clean, comfortable and quite. There fur baby friendly which is a big plus. The staff is great, there helpful and friendly. The rooms are extremely clean.

Really great staff. Our kid loved the fish pond.

I have lived in the Big Chile Inn and Suites for about a year now. It is under new management and the place is being remodeled. The new staff try to take care of you, to make you feel at ease, and let you feel like you belong. It is a nice place to stay.

All the staff have been wonderful and laid back during our stay. They are attentive and do what they say they are gonna do.

I love this place! For the last 6 months we've been moving, then traveling, the visiting then back again. I have been always able to rely on the Big Chili. Best staff, clean rooms, and they're making it soooo much nicer. 100% recommend!!!

Very cool vintage establishment. They have a court yard with a pool, coy pond and a gazebo. Rooms are large and clean, bed is comfortable. Front desk staff is friendly and helpful.

I love this place. It's cool because it's old school, simple, unpretentious. I have stayed here several times. My rooms are always clean. The staff is accommodating. The feeling is local. If you want a big, generic, cookie-cutter place then this is not for you.

Have been staying at the Big Chile Inn for my work the last 10 years, we are now under new Management, Anthony and Otto are a welcome addition here for sure...they have been redoing lots of the rooms which are looking really nice, the cleaning people are friendly and do a great job, very secure place for you to stay with no problems, would recommend this Motel to anyone wanting to stay the night, or for sure long term...

I've been staying here at the chili for about a month now it's under new management event can I say how much better it is here I stayed here before when the other management ran it and I'll tell you they treated you like bad* but now these managers and these people that are working here now they're great they make you feel at home they make you feel like you belong here they're just all around great the room perfect quiet I got my own space you know they leave you alone unless you know you need something other than that hands down best places to stay at and I'll be staying here for a while

I've been staying at the big Chile Inn for a year now it is Under New Management all the rooms are being remodeled the service and the staff go out of the way so that you can have the best experience at the big Chile Inn ever it's a great place to be to stop by take off your shoes and relax the measures that they have taken and are taking even more on security for everyone that stayed at the big Chilean is great and it's getting even better so come stay at the big Chile Inn and experience the relaxation

Spacious, comfortable room and what little problems we reported were corrected the next day and the repair tech, Gary, stopped by to make sure everything was fixed to our satisfaction. Love the koi pond and the efforts for 'community ' with the cookout/ pool opening event on Sunday. Quiet, pleasant nice place to staym

I’ve been staying here since January and it’s been real nice. Workers are friendly and attentive, and the rooms are clean.
