Rodeway Inn Willamette River

We brought our pet to the veterinary hospital at Oregon State University for the treatment of cancer, and had to stay at Corvallis for two nights because further examinations would be performed.

The front desk of the veterinary hospital gave us a list of hotels/motels probably permitting pets, including Rodeway Inn.

We didn’t expect much. Surprisingly, the room is spacious, and very clean. We are sensitive to smells, but the room totally has no any smells, no unpleasant odor, no artificial aroma. The microwave oven is newer than ours back in home.

The corner we lived in is closed to the cross of major highway. We worried about traffic noises, but luckily, it was pretty quiet during night.

Additionally, the inn locates at one end of downtown commercial strip, for several minutes’ walking, you can reach most restaurants, shops. And it is one minute walk to riverside park, which is pretty lovely.

Probably, we are lucky to have a room beyond expectations. Anyway, this is our experience.

I read all the bad reviews after my office told me they booked me here. I was a little frightened at first, especially since one of the locals made some accusations about their cleanliness. I agree that the place is a little dated, but I didn't find the staff unfriendly at all. The rooms were very clean. I didn't watch the TV but why complain about how few channels it has anyway, LAME. Everything else was great. I also heard people complain about the continental breakfast. They have obviously never stayed anywhere that has a continental breakfast BECAUSE it is just doughnuts and muffins. The coffee was hot so suck it up or go stay somewhere where they serve hot breakfast.

I was very happy with the service of the staff and the room. It was very quiet and very clean. If you want an affordable place to stay in Corvallis then this is the place. I'll be back.

It was surprisingly comfortable and a good location for a weekend of visiting several motosport events. Several bars and restaurants are within walking distance.

It is exactly what it says it is! If you’re looking for a cheap hotel, this is what you want! It’s not branding as some fancy hotel with all the amenities. It’s a good place to sleep with a/c, heat, decent bathrooms, and a pretty nice bed. It’s clean! The management is ready to help when needed, but they’re not breathing down your neck.

Great for the price!

This place was great. I was WAY SKEPTICAL about this joint, because at the last Rodeway I went to, I found a bag of crystal meth (yeah) in my bed. My sense of conformation bias generally means that when I expect a garbage motel I will find things to complain about, so that I don't have to admit I was wrong. This place, however, smashed all of my expectations.
The staff was wicked friendly, the room was WAY above the standard that I would expect for the price, the joint was quiet, they were nice about my wanting a late checkout (I checked in at about 1:00AM, and my toddler and I needed to sleep in), and just overall it was excellent. I will definitely stay here next time I go up to Oregon.

Super great rooms. Newly remodeled, amazing staff. Great location right near the river, and a bar/Chinese restaurant right next door.

Staff was very helpful. Very nice and it was nice and quiet. Room was clean bathrooms was clean. And everything worked. I will definitely stay there again and I will recommend it to family and friends.

Firm beds, clean rooms, nice scent when you open the door. Pretty quiet for being next to a restaurant and lounge.

Fast and friendly check-in, room was clean, heat worked, had fridge and microwave but no coffee maker.
Close to McDonald's and several pubs.

Nice clean comfy rooms. My only downside was their vending machines were out of order.

Staff was wonderful, very helpful when I had a personal emergency. Room was quiet and clean. Thank you!

Outside looks like motel 8 but inside is pretty decent like marriott. No swimming pool but ac is great

Very helpful lobbyperson, complimebtal breakfast and comfy pillows! Very central and convienent location near the river, restaurants and nightlife.
