Ace Hotel New Orleans

We had a marvelous time! This hotel's location is perfect for walking to a lot of tourist activities. Breakfast at Josephine Estelle was delicious and filling. Every night we came back to the hotel we had a really good cocktail at the bar. The rooftop pool was fabulous. The best part, though, was the amazing staff who took such great care of everything!!!

Great hotel, I have stayed here over 10 times. Staff is always friendly, lobby is chic and the cafe/work space is perfect for business travel. I am picky about hotel gyms and the Ace has it dialed in. Oh and the rooftop pool is great for relaxing if you have the time!

I must admit, based on some of the previous reviews of this hotel, I was a little nervous going into our NOLA trip last week. However, the woman at the front desk (I’m so sorry I forget her name but she had a bob cut) was one of the friendliest, professional and most helpful hosts I’ve ever encountered. No issues with our room and no issues with extra fees or charges etc. I always say, “customer service is half of the experience when visiting a business” and she truly made it a wonderful experience. She even suggested great places to get food, local instagram pages to follow for activities etc. I truly appreciate it and we very much enjoyed our stay. And give her a raise!

We LOVE the vibe of ACE. The art deco is creates a relaxing atmosphere. The staff is AMAZING! Brie, the front desk host, answers phone in friendly professional manner. She listens to your concerns and did an EXCELLENT job accommodating all of our needs. The hotel is conveniently located with the quarter in walking distance! The Josephine Estelle Restaurant has the same incredible service and has delicious food options! Last but not least is the Alto, the rooftop bar and pool! It truly is my HAPPY PLACE!! This was our fourth stay at this ACE location! We will definitely be back!!

Such a Vibe-y hotel. We stayed for 3 nights. Valet & door people were very courteous, welcoming& attentive. Check in staff was not. It was a very awkward, quiet, uninformative check in. Lobby was clean and smelled nice. Room was great, no complaints at all. Well stocked fridge and snacks bin (for a price of course) --It was nice to come back from day outings to a tidy and amazing smelling room. Bartenders & drinks at the lobby bar were great.

We showed up a bit early as a large group and our rooms were all ready upon arrival. Bonus! I went up to my room and my key was not working. I was assigned a different room and was in quickly. My new room was massive with a great, very deep, bathtub. My favorite!
The location was great. Close enough to the French Quarter to walk there within 5 minutes but far enough away to minimize the riff raff and noise.
AC worked great. Room blacked out well. WiFi was good. TV was nice. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. All of the staff were very nice and accommodating, especially the doormen and the front desk staff. I generally don’t enjoy boutique type hotels as they are usually small and non-functional. The Ace Hotel was exactly the opposite. A great stay.

Top notch everything! The deco decor & amber lighting set a very elegant tone. All the staff made you feel like you were an honored guest of the hotel owner. They also have so many private uncrowded spaces for conversations/catching up with friends——-this is a whole ecosystem; pool, bar, cafe, restaurant —night club—-yes stay here you’ll love it !

A wonderful place to stay. The art deco vibe is a great way to experience New Orleans, it’s far enough from the French Quarter that you can sleep, but close enough to be an easy walk to everything. Clean, comfortable and very helpful and friendly staff. The bar and coffee shop are great. We really enjoyed our stay.

I’m going to start with the most important thing…Their Service is Flawless. Literally everyone is committed and happy to serve!

We had a corporate event and their event staff was amazing. The presentation food quality, everything was TOP SHELF.

Speaking of Top Shelf, order the Mona Lysa at the lobby bar…it was amazing and introduced me to my new favorite scotch…it was developed by one of their in-house mixologists and it was FIRE!!!

The rooftop is really cool the theme is awesome, the rooms are well appointed (though the beds aren’t the most comfortable), and you feel transported into the theme at every corner.

The attached restaurant is awesome.

Bree on at the front desk was amazing. She was so sweet even mailed something for me to my mom. So helpful. I can’t say enough good things about her. I wish I could remember the hosts name at the restaurant but he was so helpful and also a vegetarian like me. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. They both provided some of the best service could ever ask for. Thank you guys so much.

This hotel is the best in New Orleans! Far enough away from Bourbon and Canal but close enough to walk. The area feels safe and beautiful by the park and is close to beautiful Magazine street, Girod and World War II museum. The hotel was perfect for Jazz Fest and had nightly shows and djs, without it being loud in your room. The cable car which is a great trip down St Charles street passes in front and back of the hotel.

The best part was the manager Tyisha who was an absolute joy and amazing to my mom and I who was celebrating her birthday in Nola. She was the sweetest and brought her a dollar to pin on her (Nola tradition), a crown and 2 free drinks. We are obsessed with her!

We would recommend to stay here for all these factors!

Things that we could have loved more: the restaurant and rooms (they need rugs or carpets) but other than that our stay was wonderful!

Staying at the Ace Hotel has been awesome, from the exceptional service to the meticulous attention to detail. Tyi ensured my laundry made it in time for my flight, while Darielle provided top-notch service and smooth transitions between rooms. Whether it’s Jazz Fest or any other occasion, this place is a must-stay. Salute to the team holding it down .💯👌🏾💚

Perfect location for a visit to New Orleans in general if you want to be a little bit away from the noise of Bourbon. It was really the perfect location for walking to the Saints game. So many food, coffee, and drink options in the hotel alone. Everyone was so nice & smiling, hotel was clean, our room was MASSIVE I think it was the corner king. Fully stocked snack bar and Smeg fridge too. The Ace branding & vibe is so cool too, everything is clever & very thought out.

Awesome staff! Love the vibe! Everyone, even other guests were great. Favorite restaurant in the area was Seaworthy. Pluck Wine Bar was our favorite place for a drink. Ace Hotel is the perfect base for exploring this part of New Orleans.

Loved this hotel, great friendly staff. Very helpful, made us feel very much at home. I was traveling with my child and we both loved it. Seems like there were a lot of great features for those above 21 as well.

Location was great, didn't have to drive once we got there.

Absolutely loved my stay at Ace Hotel New Orleans! The rooms were spacious, creating a comfortable retreat, and the lively atmosphere added a fun touch to the experience. Perfectly situated in a central location, making it convenient to explore the vibrant city. Highly recommend!

Great hotel that features an awesome restaurant downstairs, rooftop pool and bar where you can also smoke. The rooms are great! Great views! Fitness/gym is top notch. Great coffee downstairs at the Cafe. Cafe sitting area.

Exceptional ambience, located in the most perfect nook of downtown in walking distance to he Quarters and Smoothie King Center. Hantwan at the front desk is the most attentive and accommodating- most exceptional and hospitable. It's definitely worth spending extra for a suite.

I just had the most pleasant dining experience at Josephine Estelle due to my server, Verlena. Her attention and warm welcoming were so genuine, I felt as though I was enjoying my meal with family. Her convivial charm makes me look forward to my return.
