Hawaiian Hut

One of the best experience I’ve had in this town of Lafayette. Service was 5 stars. Food was fresh and just delicious. It was my first time ever having Hawaiian food and was memorable. The owners (I believe) are from Hawaii and the love definitely shows in the food. Do you remember that cashiers name Hawaiian hut. Wish I remembered everyone’s name that was working because they definitely made me an my husband feel welcomed. We will definitely be back often!!! Thank u all for leaving such a big impressive experience. Also we both are servers at a local favorite an have been in this business for 22 years so it takes a lot to actually impress me. Kudos

Love this place. DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE the deliciousness - even my mother from hawaii said "looks ono" when I sent her the picture of my 'elua plate with the katsu and kalua pork. My girlfriend and I are going back for the shave ice and dole whip tomorrow.

Authentic! Food tastes fresh and good. Restaurant is clean. And very nice people in this family run business, loved it. I will return to the Mall just for the restaurant.

This is seriously the most underrated place in Lafayette. I had seen the google reviews and when we walked past it in the mall we had to try it. I had the pick 2 plate with the chicken katsu and teriyaki chicken. The plate came with rice and a serving of macaroni salad. The food was freaking amazing. It came out hot and the katsu was still crispy by the time I got home. The portions are very generous.

This is authentic Hawaiian food. I spent a week in Hawaii about a year ago and loved the food. I haven’t found anything similar since, that is until I found this place. They even gave me a sample of the dole ice cream which is to die for! The employees were nice and overall I’m very satisfied.

There are no cons. Just give this place a try. I know mall food can be sketchy but don’t let that deter you as this is far from traditional mall food.

Wow, their Hawaiian Shaved ice is DELICIOUS and unique. Their food is good too! I just wish I'd see more people go to it. I believe it's a mom and pop business which is hard to imagine giving the custom look of the place!

Hawaiian Hut is owned and operated by true Hawaiians who embrace and know how to serve up Hawaiian dishes with a dose of welcoming 'Aloha'! Like how warm and comforting the dishes they serve are, so, too, are the owners.

If you long for a epicurean escape reminiscent of happy family vacations and sun-kissed beaches, they offer the coveted Dole Whip (frozen fruit soft serve) found in the Disney theme parks. This dessert is an excellent option for those who adhere to a vegetarian/vegan and/or dairy-free diet.

For Hawaiian transplants looking for a taste of home or those who would like to experience cuisine locals in Hawaii readily consume, you should venture to Hawaiian Hut and try one of their dishes like kalua pork. If all else fails, you must go there at least once and try a Dole Whip!

The reviews are accurate! AMAZING, freshly cooked food in large portions. I tried the teriyaki chicken and loved it; the sauce is fantastic! The staff were very informed about the menu and were so kind in helping me figure out what I wanted. I will definitely be returning!

Edit: Tried the kalua pork. It is also super delicious and is a great option if you don't want sauce on your meat. Amazing smoky flavor!

Excellent made to order food that is authentically Hawaiian. Generous portions, and good variety. Will definitely be going back for more.

Had the 2 item plate with kalua pork and loco moco (burger with gravy and egg). Both were tasty.

This is the 1st time we stopped after many times walking by. My strawberry-pineapple smoothie was awesome and my wife loved her Dole-whip soft serve. ❤
After we walked around the mall we wanted to stop a 2nd time.

My ohana and I thoroughly enjoyed the mea'ai (food)-Kalua pig, teriyaki chicken, rice, choice of the real deal, hawaiian approved mac or green salad, mouthwatering li hing mui pineapple, fruit punch for the keiki (kids) and pineapple juice for the adults. Of course we had to finish with the grand finale, the BEST HAWAI'I SHAVED ICE with ice cream. From the serenading island music, ohana-friendly atmosphere, the doting service and wala'au ( great conversations) we will definitely be back! We found a piece of home in the states! Thank you to this wonderful family who've created a Hawaii haven!

We had the teriyaki chicken bowl and it was very good. The staff was super friendly and the food was very authentic and fresh. Glad to see less chain restaurants and more family owned places.

As an Islander, walking into Hawaiian Hut is like walking to my ʻOhana home. Wonderful,welcoming staff, delicious food, and an amazing atmosphere. Been there 6 times in 3 weeks, would reccomend.

Staff are very nice and very friendly, the food are massive (Hawaiian Size) so it was really worthy to buy, and the foods are very delicious. Its very very good food. I keep coming back to this place because of everything. Its so satisfying. Try it folks!

Everything at the Hawaiian hut is really good to eat and honestly let me tell You the food was good and I never tasted anything better than this, that’s my opinion and the people here working are really nice. Absolute best place to get something very tasty to eat that’s original! The owners are very kind and open to explaining everything that you may have questions about! Even my son loves to eat here and he is super picky 😂

Looove the food here, and the customer service is amazing! They know us now from how often we used to go and get the container of Mac. Salad lol.

11/10. Some of the Best food I’ve had in a long time. Salmon was great, so was kabob chicken.

The food is amazing, I will order ahead in the future because there is a wait time since the food is fresh. Definitely recommend, this place deserves more business!

Friendly staff and great food. Reminds me of local Hawaiian food from back home. Our family favorite place to eat.
