Taco Rico never disappoints! We end up here about every 3 or 4 weeks. I’ve never been unhappy with any dish or service. Atmosphere is friendly and cheerful, I love the plants! Great food, good prices, and pleasant experiences.

Must try the Sopes! Barbacoa meat was my favorite!

This is my new fave Mexican spot! You just come in and seat yourself. They promptly come to get your drink order and give you menus. Followed by chips and salsa.

I knew we went to the right spot when everyone coming and going was Latino. Everything was cooked to perfection! The servings are huge. Our daughter got kids chicken tenders and fries. It's so big. It could have fed 2, if not all 3 of our kids. The Horchata was really good and not too sweet. They were serve Jarritos, they have molé and the vibe is very homey. I loved it. Reminded me of growing up in California. Service was amazing. I would recommend a sign say you may seat yourself or please wait to be seated. It was confusing on if we should sit or not. Outside of that, it was great! I can't wait to try more.

Went here for a quick bite while my husband's phone got his phone repaired next door. It was delicious! Service was great too! Will definitely be back.

I must have driven past this gem of a restaurant hundreds of times. Went in today for a girls lunch and WOW! So delicious! I'll definitely be returning.

Had lunch at Taco Rico today and it was SOOOO good! It reminded me of the authentic tasting Mexican food I used to be able to find in Denver. Best carnitas I've had in 7 years! I had a carne asada flauta, carne asada taco, and a carnitas sope, with beans and rice on the side. My friend had a carnitas chimichanga and it was the best chimi either of us had ever had! The quality and the portion size is on point! Worth every penny and I will be back again!

The place was busy, but we got seated right away. At least half the clientele was Hispanic which is a great sign if you are looking for authentic food. The food did not disappoint. It was excellent! The service was also great. Very friendly and attentive.

Authentic tacos on the menu with all the popular options for meat. You can also get all of the meat options in burritos, tortas, flautas, etc.

Lots of other popular dishes on the menu as well. Great destination if you like real Mexican food.

A textbook Mexican Restaurant.

You'll get exactly what you order, made the way you are used to. The Chile Relleno was perfect! Tacos are a little salty, but still delicious.

The staff is friendly and polite.

Prices are standard for this cuisine.

I go there quite frequently. All there food IS worth its value!

The only down...is the Alc. prices.
Modelo is not worth $8 a bottle..other than that the food is off the chain great

I wholeheartedly believe this is the best Mexican food (Best food?) in Lafayette. Get their burrito, you won't regret it.

Sometimes I eat their burrito as two complete meals, it's that big & hearty.

They were one of my favorite places before I moved into this strip mall. And now that I'm their literal neighbor & eat there several times a week, the novelty has not worn off. They are amazing. Eat here, you will not regret it.

This is a fantastic little Mexican joint to grab some authentic dishes. Their dishes are authentic, the value is good, and service is on point.

The salsa was muy Rico! The tacos were great, but did have a lot of grease. Hope you can keep it off your shirt better than I did! I recommend this place for excellent sabor!

Real authentic Mexican food. It was very good.

Chicken chimichanga, very good quality. A bit crowded, afternoon time, but nonetheless service is great and food was brought out quickly, aprox 20, and they accomadated for our party of 9 with no issues

Fantastic authentic Mexican food! Great prices for fresh and delicious food. Service was great considering how busy they were! My boyfriend had the flautas dinner and I had a combo with sope, flauta, and a taco which were all really tasty!! We also had guacamole

I love this place. Authentic, flavorful Mexican food. The staff speak Spanish and English. It is seat yourself and there is usually always a spot available. To go orders are always fast and ready within minutes. They serve complimentary chips and salsa when you come in for a meal. The sopes and carne asada plate and the camarones as mojo de ajo are my favorites!!
