COTTAGE Solisko 1840 m asl

Can't do anything but 5*! Spent the night super-cheaply.. sleeping on the table in the restaurant.. was truly extraordinary experience. No joke! This mountain hut has original atmosphere and skilled and friendly staff. Magnificent views, good Slovakian cuisine ("Halušky" were splendid) and fair Pilsner Urquell 12° on tap make me come back for sure. Thank you!

Food and drinks were good for reasonable prices considering we are in High Tatras. We had to wait for place to sit and there were clean toilets.

Pilsner beer into Pilsner glass. I got the right glass when asking to change it. Great, appreciate it!

We only ate and rested there. Fast service and delicious food

I can describe the hotel because we didn’t stay for a night but service, meal…..everything was excellent. A big thank you.

Beautiful place for start and finish a hike. Little bit more expensive but that's understandable, taking into account where it is .

Nice and cozy small-to-medium sized mountain cottage.
The staff is nice and polite. You can get soups, main dishes, snacks and usual drinks and spirits here.
The service is fast. Prices are reasonable.
Recommended to visit 👍🏻

Lovely cottage, very nice wood design. Variety of traditional slovak food and drinks. Nice seating area outside the cottage. Beautiful view.

This place is just perfect. Exactly what you would expect from a great mountain hut. Cozy interior with huge sun terrace, friendly staff (service at the bar though), tasty dishes and great local beer (TatrYPA) for reasonable prices (large beer 3-3.5, soup 3.5, main dish around 8)and at good quality... And the view... Magnificent!

Great good after mother nature decided the hike wasn't gonna happen. Didn't expect the temps, rain and now and we're I'll prepared:/. Beautiful lodge, great prices, great food. 👍

Have quite a memories of this place when I had to use it as a shelter 9 years ago and always wanted to stay there just as a regular hiker after coming down from a longer hike and have a rest and the lovely views. Finally did it, staff was exceptionally understanding in accommodating us as a group of 13 people. Love the place!

Super chata! Count 1h-1h30 hike from strbske pleso and enjoy nice dishes and a variety of drinks! We slept in the dining room on mattresses put on the tables, very comfy and the staff was super friendly. Do get there for a nice mountain experience!

Perfect place where one can enjoy the atmosphere of a mountain chalet without doing any hiking as there is a cable car all the way up. Excellent food, good drinks (try borovička s horcom, 40% Slovak shot, you will love it). Nice and warm place in summer or winter with great staff.

Mountain shelter where you can rest before you go any further into higher mountains. Good food, good beer and beautifully views around.

Very nice place with view of High Tatras. The food is amazing, especially the sweet dumplings, kind of. The herb tea is the best around. Toilets got upgraded recently, but got decreased in numbers of cabins. Overall experience so far, is great. You need to check this cottage out. :-D

Nice place, nice view and lots of meals to eat ☺ It is easy walk from Strbske Pleso, walk lasts estimated 1 hour, no need to take hike boots, but you must be careful if you see larger stones😁
