A beautiful hike in the Tatras that continues from the base where all the ski schools are located. I went in March for a lovely 5am hike in the snow and highly advise suitable footwear, I did it in trainers and you could tell it wasn’t trekked often at the time with the depths of snow and the covered paths! There are many steep ledges which obviously offer some danger in the snow but 100% worth it for the beautiful views at the top…
The waterfall was frozen so I will certainly return in summer but was absolutely beautiful nonetheless 💖

Update: Returned when the waterfall was still there and it was just as beautiful and serene!

Nice place to relax. I went at the beginning of June and could continue the hiking because of snow. It would be better to come equipped with helmet and ice ax if you want to come this month.

Nice family hike! Keep your dog on a leash. I would recommend wearing hiking shoes, as it rained a lot the night before which made the trail very wet, not muddy, the trail had fairly long low stream patches, but enough for wanting waterproof footwear.

Gorgeous views from the beginning of the trail. The path goes through beautiful forest. The waterfall looks very impressive. There’s not a lot of tourists in November so it’s quiet and chill.

A little embarrassed that children were hiking faster than me. But the sights were worth it

We hiked up to the waterfall late May, so there was still a lot of snow covering the water, but still it was mesmerizing as well as the panorama through the whole hike. Easy-level hike, about 10-12km, recomendedd for beginners.

Relaxing, refreshing place to connect the soul, body and mind with nature nurtured with nature. The waters are so pure and cool....I love the trip. To those who are spiritual, the mountains are a good place for personal meditation.

Beautiful place to visit and have a picnic. The climb up the waterfall is spectacular and worth the climb. On top you will find a tranquil alpine lake that spills over into the water fall.

Probably one of the most beautiful waterfalls in High Tatras, for me personally, the most beatiful 😍
The trip lasts estimated 1hour and few minutes from Strbske Pleso, you go through the woods, there are lots of stones, so you must be careful. In the end you feel very relaxed while you are looking at waterfall👌🏻
Not very hard, also reachable with kids 😊

Wounderful place. Waterfall iš very beautiful, but mountins around - amazing! The path is not hard, alone you reach it during an hour, with children - two hours. My doughter liked there very much!😁❤ Car parking for a day ir parking lot iš 5,50 eur

A really nice hike. Very popular, so be prepared for the crowds. Approx. 10 km and 3 h round trip from the lake.

Super nice if you love hiking)
And don't start the journey if it's going to get dark soon, you'll need some time to get to the waterfall and back)

Very scenic watterfall, best experienced in June. It’s possible to hike there in the winter too, but good snow shoes recommended.
