Beautiful place, super big bedroom and excellent service

Superb hotel in Fundão, the staff is very friendly and the rooms are nicely tidy and clean , they are cleaned everyday. The breakfast is perfect, lots of options and the usual suspects . It has an interior pool , spa , gym and you can order food in with THE XICOS which is nice . We didn't try the restaurant because there are better, cheaper alternatives in the area .

This place is amazing and the staff were really helpful. The food at the restaurant was super delicious however the portions were too big (be careful as I wouldn’t like seeing food going to waste). I couldn’t enjoy the pool because of the weather but will be back in summer.

Lovely hotel, with a very nice and large pool/garden area. Great for large groups. The staff is very kind and polite, without overdoing it as in some fancy hotels. If you go for a drink at the english Bar, make sure to ask the young barman for some caipirinhas, they are great!

The kids love it. The water park for the children was surprise for me, I was expecting a swimming pool only. There was a fun water gymnastics class and a bouncer jumper also. We were amazed. It was a great day.

Been to this Hotel on vacation ever since I was a wee little baby. It's such a convenience where most of the staff already know my family when we go there. Such an amazing hotel. It might be small but such a great little hotel that I love just being in the very comfortable rooms, the pools, the restaurant, the everything. It's such a lovely place and you can tell they put a lot of love into making it into a temporary home for you, no matter how much time you spend there. se

Great hotel in Fundão area, nice place to stay for a visit to Serra da Estrela as you can reach Torre in about 30/40 minutes.
The hotel is very good, staff were very friendly and helpful. The wifi was very good making it a perfect place for some homeoffice option. Price was reasonable, room was very spacious. Everything was very clean and tidy. Many outdoor swimming pools but I have been there on winter and didn't feel like jumping in but it would definitely make a perfect place for spending some days with your family, kids will definitely enjoy the swimming pools.

Best pool EVER! Great for kids and adults alike. Staff friendly. You can pay to use the pool only. €10 pp. A little discount for kids up to 6 years old.

Great hotel. Unbelievably affordable rates. Huge grounds, several swimming pools, indoor and out. Personally decorated by the owners. No two rooms alike. Excellent restaurant. Frequently renovated and re-decorated.

The hotel is beautiful, more than we expected! The pool area was fabulous and the pool bar was great fun! We did find the edge of the paving around the pool very hot and it could be very slippery. My daughter and husband enjoyed the aqua aerobics!! We stayed in apartment 46 and the balcony at the rear was just lovely to sit out on. The views were magnificent looking across to Serra Da Estrela. The only points I would like to mention regarding the accommodation is that it would have been nice to have had a small table and chairs on the balcony. It would also have been great to have had tea/coffee making facilities in the apartment. I am an early riser and needed to wait till everyone was awake and ready to go to breakfast before I could have a coffee in the morning. This I would have enjoyed sitting on the balcony before the family awoke. The only issue we had apart from what I have already mentioned is the lack of WIFI coverage in and around room 46. I think most people now-a-days expect to receive WIFI where ever they are. I hope to return to your beautiful hotel in the future and would highly recommend it to anyone. Again, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff at the O Alambique for being so welcoming and helpful during our stay.

All ordered dishes were perfect. Portions are generous, quality is very good. Room is relatively quiet and not too noisy.

What a great hotel to stay in. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Breakfast was good. I loved the Easter decorations.
