Luna Hotel Serra da Estrela

Nice hotel, good place to start walks from. Warm swimming pool, not very big but big enough. I ate only in the hotel and was satisfied, large selection of small dishes and 3 main courses, multiple dessert options. They have oils,spices,salt,pepper, so you can add them accordingly. 25 euro for a all you can eat buffet is an OK price I think. I had a good experience for 3 nights. There is even a shuttle bus from the covilha bus station if your on a budget, this even goes to the mountain top while passing the hotel.

The location of the hotel is amazing. The room was pretty nice, but there was a weird smell inside, we opened the window for the night and it made it so much nicer and more fresh.
The breakfast was really good! Great selection of savoury and sweet options, coffe, tea, freshly squeezed orange juice and even sparkling wine. The pool could be a little bigger and you need a pool cap to go inside which was not ideal

Beautiful, old world charm. Quaint, Overlook Hotel kinda vibe, but in a good way.

Lovely location, unfortunately we had a yellow weather warning for rain whilst we were there so were unable to do much as we were on motorbikes. The views travelling to and from the hotel were stunning. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Would definitely return.

Even though the felicity is pretty aged, I found the room clean and spacious. We have a good time in the room with the great view.

This place is worth a visit if just for the views. This is the highest hotel in Portugal, the road up to this place seem to be going up forever.

Excellent breakfast. Very good value for money!! Didn't had dinner here but one of the best restaurants you can find in Portugal is a 3min walk. Lovely place, nice people. You shouldn't regret it. People were nice.

Excellent hotel. Spacious, clean and comfortable rooms. Stunning mountain views. Great location for walking or cycling holidays. The breakfasts and dinner time buffets are fit for king! (Or a hungry, but fussy, cyclist!) All the staff go out of their way to help you. Would recommend highly. :-)

Great hotel to spend some time with kids in the montains! The location is great, it's nearby all the major attractions in Serra da Estrela. They have a warm swimming pool that the kids loved! They also have a large game room for kids. The breakfast is excellent. The hotel restaurant, medieval restaurant, is expensive and the food is ok. But there are excellent options nearby like restaurant Puro and restaurant Clube de Campo.
