Beautiful Place, excellent for a picnic and good family time.

Please keep it clean, take your garbage with you, outside, in the parking there are garbage bins to drop it off.

We visited over the weekend 6/7January when there was the big snowfall. The birch trees were just beautiful 😊

I really like this stop in Serra da Estrela. This park is beautiful and has barbecue in the garden. We went in the winter and there were snow but I think during spring and summer it is a very good place to spent a day relaxing

What a beautiful stop! The start of the Zêzere river is right there, in a lovely park with picnic tables and a mini-hike. We stayed for an hour playing on the grass, but I can imagine a long afternoon with lunch and some frisbee or soccer.

Beautiful and calm park, with a lot of trees to shelter you.
There's amazing views of the mountains, and you'll find there's restrooms, a small shop to buy drinks/snacks and barbecue areas.
It's the perfect place to stop and relax while visiting Serra de Estrela.

Breathtaking natural place. My favourite part of the Serra da Estrela! There’s plenty of space, tables for piqueniques, public grills, public toilets with paper but no sinks, a little bar even. Great to spend time with kids and pets. You don’t want to miss this!

Excellent place for some r&r in the middle of nature, with lots of green, peace and quiet. Best to come here in “wetter” seasons rather than summer time when the water flows have dried, but it’s still worth the visit, especially if you’re going upwards to the top of the mountain.

Nice place. The water are so clean and calm until the waterfall. Lots to do there. Also start trecking GR33

A small but nice green area with a river. People can use the public barbecue places

Amazing place, surrounded by the mountains and really close to the Tower. It’s windy in the Autumn, but it’s worth the visit for a walk and a picnic. You can park in the road outside beside the entrance.

Beautiful serene place with tranquil water features surrounded in three sides by high rocky ridges and crags.

Surprisingly enchanting place. The road to get there is breathtaking. This gorgeous place sits right at the base of a mountain. Walk all the way to the end to contemplate it and take the best pictures. Great for a family picnic.

Beautiful place. But it's kind of run down and not well maintained.

Please, keep it clean!!! If you visit this spot, at least pick up a few items of litter to clean it... Why are we, people, so dirty and unconsidered?

Do the walk towards the three cantaros, you will not be disappointed. It is beautiful here, fun to climb and scramble on the boulders too. Amazing views and looks like a brilliant place to stay for the day. We came for sunset which was lush
