UCHUCUTA Restaurant Ollantaytambo

We took a cooking workshop with Sergio that was GREAT! Sergio was super patient, took us to a strawberry farm and a mushroom farm and then we came back to cook in the restaurant. The kitchen is clean and everything was fresh. We had tasty potatoes in yellow chili sauce, vegetarian lomo saltado and excellent picarones!
Very recommended if you want delicious food and everyone was super nice and kind!

I have been living in Perú for more than 4 years and I dare say that Uchucuta in Ollantaytambo is in my top 5 best restaurants I have eaten so far more than a 100 even expensive ones; The ingredients, the flavors and the service was excellent, the premises are very typical of the area nothing fancy but perfect to live the full experience.

And we took Mushroom ceviche .. it was so amazing. Atmosphere is typical of the area , nothing fancy . But service was excellent and food was delicious. They even tweaked couple of dishes to suit to offer us what we wanted

Owner is great person. I went there at 10:50 where most oft the restaurants are closed. I asked him if I can get some food somewhere. This kind hearted person opened the kitchen for me and cooked the food. Thank you very much for being so nice.

Amazing restaurant with excellent food and service. We ordered the rolled trout, the quinoa soup, quinoa salad and the chicken soup. They were all delicious and well presented. The service was also very good. I highly recommend this place if you want to have good food in Ollantaytambo!!!

Outstanding service, the ladies did great job. Stopped for lunch, had lunch specials, they were great. Prices are good, especially for touristy area.

What really sets Uchucuta apart from so many other restaurants, I've visited in Peru, is their focus on high quality ingredients. They're not content to dress up the chepeast piece of beyond-date meat. And when it says "tenderloin," it's acutally tenderloin! Another thing that sets them apart is the fact that the owner, Sergio, and his employees actually care about food. I never really had alpacha until I ate here, and, hell, I never even had a properly prepared chicken breast, until I ordered the "rolled chicken" at this place. You can just feel and taste the love and attention that goes into every dish, and that's a rare thing.

We went in the low season, April, and late in the evening, just before closing. We were literally the only people in there, but they took care of us, and the food was amazing. I had the Alpaca steak - the best that I tasted in Lima during my one week visit.

Locale piccolo e prenotazione obbligatoria, il proprietario è molto simpatico e cordiale, abbiamo ordinato e gustato due zuppe (una di quinoa e una di zucca) molto saporite e abbondanti. Per secondo abbiamo optato per degli involtini di pollo e filetto di alpaca. Unico aggettivo: favolosi.
Ci siamo bevuti anche una birra artigianale alla Maracuya, inaspettatamente buona.
Prezzo più che corretto 50$ in due.

Nuestra agencia Audley nos recomendo este lugar. Al llegar paracia una fondita barata, pero cuando llego la comida...WOOW! Estilo gourmet! Muy recomendable el ceviche (obvio) y el lomo saltado. La vista del centro arqueologico es fenomenal.

A comida é excelente, comi pratos leves de ingredientes frescos. Ceviche maravilhoso e sopa de quinua. Muito bom. Serviço regular! Recomendo!
