ChocoMuseo Ollantaytambo

Very hands-on workshop to learn the process of making chocolate, starting with roasting the beans! Delightful instructor Lisette led me in English and my broken Spanish, with a little Quechua thrown in. Well priced, I personally enjoyed it a lot.

Not only can you purchase different cocoa products, you can also do one of the cooking classes. This gives you the opportunity to make chocolate tea, hot chocolate and chocolate bars using a variety of moldes. It was an awesome experience and we would thoroughly recommend it. Can do it in Spanish and English.

I worked here as a volunteer. Great chocolate that is made in house. Also great ice cream and hot chocolate. They give chocolate making workshops that are a lot of fans as well.

We did the bean to bar class with Luis. He was amazing and the class was a fun experience on a rainy afternoon.

Amazing place!
Very small with nice atmosphere, many pictures with process of chocolate growing and producing. It's not a real 'museum', but has very interesting information and choco-atmosphere.
Sometimes staff was distracted and forgetful.

You can buy a souvenirs there, choco beans or chocolate or some choco-cosmetics... You can get a choco cook-class or only cup of coffee/tea.

It was our love during staying in Ollantaytambo :) We had a cup of coffee with chocolate/brauni/hot chocolate/icecream every day!

Great location just below the archeological site in Ollantaytambo. Delicious chocolate, good food. The offer cooking classes and chocolate making workshops. Definitely worth a visit.

A bit pricey, but nothing better than a nice hot chocolate on a cool Ollantaytambo night. Cool display about how chocolate is made. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff.
