Restaurant Pizzeria Mijunapaq

It’s family-owned business. Their pizzas are way better than Pizza Hut or Pizza My Heart. Their mushroom soups is very good too! The pizza was so good that we had to come back the next day and ordered 3 other kinds for lunch! We enjoyed every bite especially after a tiring hike up the archeological site and tour of the market place around the corner. Big bonus is you’ll see the steep steps of Sitio Arqueologico de Ollantaytambo from their balcony during the day. The owners went over the top when it rained hard and we didn’t bring raincoats in mid November. The chef went out of the restaurant to find us a Tuktuk late that evening when rides were scarce. After 3 attempts, he found us a tuktuk that took us to our hotel’s doorstep. Our shoes stayed dry on a rainy evening! Thanks to them!

This was highly recommended by a local and it was amazing! To start if we had the quinoa soup and it was the best ever!!! I had their beef lomo saltado and hubby had the trucha and my plate was way better. The chicha morada is a must.

Incredible food!!! We had the carne de la pierda and it was the tastiest meal we’ve had in Perú. It came with quinoa risotto and a salad which was very tasty too!

Great lunch, had the salad from sacred valley, the lomo the alpaca en salsa de sauco, and the pollo con risotto de quinoa, all great, real cotton napkins, clean, clean toilets, fast wifi, pizza from a real wood oven

My husband and I enjoyed our experience here. This place was recommended by our driver. I ordered the lamb shank and my husband ordered the pizza. We were both pleased with the meal and service.

Excellent meal. I had the lomo saltado alpaca well done. It was so soft and tender,with a a great flavour.

Nasz przewodnik, który już od 18 lat jeździ w te rejony i zna już chyba wszystkie knajpy, od razu przyprowadził nas w to miejsce. I miał absolutną rację - to jedzenie jest fantastyczne! On sam zamówił alpakę na gorącym kamieniu, którą aż było słychać przy podaniu. Ja miałam sałatkę andina i byłam po prostu zachwycona. Najlepsza, jaką jadłam w całym Peru. I bardzo ciekawe składniki, idealnie się komponujące. Jako danie główne miałam pstrąga z grillowanymi warzywami i co najlepsze - danie zmodyfikowane tak, abym mogła go jeść mimo moich alergii. Na życzenie zamienili frytki na ryż i nie polali sosem. Przy tym zmieniając recepturę nie czułam się z tym niekomfortowo, jak to czasem bywa w innych restauracjach. Za zestaw sałatka (która już sama w sobie była spora) i grillowana ryba zapłaciłam tylko 30 PEN. Polecam gorąco to miejsce! Na pewno jeszcze raz przyjdziemy w drodze powrotnej z Machu Picchu.
