The James Hotel Rotterdam

Had a nice stay.
Reception staff are fantastic and always friendly and helpful.
Room I was in was quiet and large.
Great location, easy walk to central station.
Great wifi.

A beautiful hotel right in the heart of Rotterdam centre. Plenty of shops, bars and restaurants nearby and the train station is a 10 minute walk.

Rooms was clean, spacious and modern with a smart TV which synced to my phone easily. Lavazza coffee machine was good and shower was nice. View from room was backing onto a building site but considering I was only there to sleep and freshen up, that didn't matter.

The staff were great and accommodating.

My only negative would be check in was very hectic with multiple people trying to all check in at the same time. It could have maybe have done with extra staff for that but that Nobodies fault. My advise would be get there a little earlier to avoid the queue. Worst case, they will hold.yoyr bags so you can explore.

Very nice room. All facilities available. Excellent room service and located in the heart of the city with bike rentals. Breakfast service was very good, pay what you eat. Very accessible to all tourist locations.

The front desk reception staff are really nice and helpful! No problems with English as well.

The rooms themselves are very clean with a very modern aesthetic. Loved the King bed

Well-located hotel, within walking distance of key sights and many restaurants. Really helpful and welcoming front desk staff. Stylish lobby, and lovely large second floor lounge where food is available for credit card sale.

The room was small but nicely outfitted and clean, and the desk, comfy chair, view, and mini-fridge were great. Appreciated the refilled large hotel containers rather than single use, as well as the option to skip housekeeping and have a tree planted. Excellent stay, would come here again.

Great central location to explore Rotterdam. Nice rooms and comfy beds. Hotel staff are wonderful, we had an emergency trip to the hospital and they arranged the ambulance for us. Thank you ☺

Right in the center of the city. Seems hidden almost, so nice and clean. All feels very mellow, which is good. Feels somewhat high end even so quite nice. Recommended

Stayed here for two nights. Can’t complain. Hotel itself is very nice, entrance is very modern and sleek. There’s a gym and a very nice honesty shop on the second floor where you buy items and then pay yourself, no shop attendants or anything.

Rooms were quite spacious and very modern bathroom. Location is really good, 5/10 minute walk from Rotterdam Central and right next to loads of shops and restaurants. Would stay here again

I love this hotel. I have been 3 times already in The James Hotel and it is magnifique. Rooms are nice, big and really clean. Maybe one thing to improve is the breakfast having more food to chose, but everything is nice :)

Beautiful hotel stay. The lobby is stunning as are the rooms. The service is exceptional and I cannot fault anything. Staff are so friendly and helpful.
We got an upgrade to our room which meant we were in the junior suite. It was the most gorgeous and spacious room. It was a surprise and we thoroughly appreciated it!!
Super clean throughout and a wonderful scent. The bedding is sublime and I had the best sleep. The perfect mattress and pillows.
We managed to park in the hotel garage for €20, such an amazing idea.
Can’t wait to be back! Worth every single penny.

A very nice hotel with all amenities included and with an extremely friendly staff. Rooms are quite spacious, very modern, very clean and very lit! There’s a 24/7 food market to serve you at anytime! This is a gem when having 12 am cravings. Loved the concept! A very nice lounge area where you could chill or work.
This is not to forget the hotels proximity to all of the city’s attractions. You’re always a maximum of 10 minute walk away from an attraction.
Overall highly recommended for its location, service, cleanliness, amenities, staff and much more!

Nice room with comfortable bed. We had a chance to have a room on 16th floor with beautiful view. No breakfast but there's a market on 2nd floor so you can buy the necessaries with reasonable price. You need to ask for parking (20€/day) when check-in and then the parking needs to be opened by the receptionist.

If you want to have a great stay right in the centre of Rotterdam where they have acces to park your car don’t look any further.
I had the pleasure of spending my birthday here and I don’t regret it for a second. The staff is extremely wonderful and very attentive. In addition they are very well read and go the extra mile to put a smile on customers their face. During our stay I talked with other guest who mentioned that the service is extraordinary. I would definitely recommend this hotel to business people, couples and families. See you soon and thank you for the birthday gifts!

A lovely hotel with really helpful staff. When myself and my boyfriend realised the wrong dates were booked, the front of house staff couldn't have been more helpful in arranging a room for us along with an upgrade.
This would be our second time staying in the James and we will definitely be back!

This was the nicest hotel we stayed in for our 2 week visit to the UK & Netherlands. We also highly recommend "Goucho's" steak restaurant. We walked to it. There are many good restaurants in the area! Watch out for the bicycles!

A tall pocket hotel. It's in a great location. My wife thought it was lovely. If you like a double sheet on the bed ask soon. The pillows are big and square. Our mattress was old. There are no washcloths. They are stingy with cleaning products. No lotion. No extras. No shower cap which I don't use. I found the shower pressure weak and the shower floor is slippery.
