Great little model layout. The main floor is based on the Netherlands and downstairs Great Britain is under construction.

Kept us entertained for a couple of hours in central Rotterdam. Reasonable value and great detailed modelling.

One minute of real time represents one hour model time, so it goes dark every so often and the lights make the models come alive in a different way.

There are lots of model trains with the odd moving vehicle. Only thing not very realistic is there aren’t many bicycle models, unlike real Netherlands!

This is a real gem for children and model enthusiasts. It is really inspiring in showing children how the city works and in showing the scale of its infrastructure and transport systems. My two children 8 and 11 enjoyed the different themes and the English language displays really helped. The moving objects were particularly popular with children. The UK themes downstairs were really good and done to an impressive level of detail. Highly recommended.

This has to be one of the best miniature world setups I have ever seen. Its huge, and so insanely detailed. Watch out for all the hilarious secret features, like live concerts with animated jumbotrons, superman, a cow in a paraglider, hidden cows in random places all over the model, and a number of other funny / interesting features.

The main area all runs on a huge multi-screen computer controlled timing system (That I forgot to take a photo of) that manages the location of all the trains and vehicles, along with all the switch gear, and also runs a 1m = 1hr day/night cycle on the lights too.

They are also creating a new section that is loosely based on the UK, condensing all the key landmarks into a much smaller footprint. I'm not sure when this will be finished but will definitely be worth the visit when its done.

If you are even slightly interested in model trains, and miniature models in any way, I highly recommend it if you are in the area.

Mini world is a nice place with lots of trains and famous locations in Rotterdam. And downstairs there is a miniature Great Britain. Love to go again.

I spent 2.5 hours with my family - adults and kids -in the room with miniatures of Rotterdam's unique landmarks and typical surrounding 'polder' landscapes, which is probably around 500m2 in total. There are so many tiny details at street level to observe, and the miniatures are placed a little under eye's height. Kids can stand on a ledge, placed under the guard rail, that gives them a very good opportunity to see everything with their own eyes. Of course, touching of the miniatures is not allowed. To make it even more realistic, the lights switch from day to night mode. The night is proportionally shorter because you can see less detail, though it shows all the lights on buildings and vehicles, a spledid sight!

There is an open control centre, behind a cord, where you can speak with the operators, sitting behind computer screens. These operators are very friendly and have made a hobby of their work. You see them running from time to time, climbing on the boards and pushing halted trains back into motion. You will have a great time, guaranteed!

We really enjoyed the visit despite a lot of children. The alternation of the night/day atmosphere in the room was very appreciated. However, when it’s dark, we cannot read informations on the signs and we’re forced to wait.

The work of the models is really very impressive. The price of tickets is justified ! I recommend this activity

In mini Rotterdam is very nice... You can see night and morning inside. also you can hear concert gangnam style too, Very nice

What a delightfully pleasing place. There are miniatures of many of the cities and towns in the Netherlands as well as wonderfully explicit historical explanations of various events that created the country. There are staff members monitoring the operation of the various trains, trucks, and other motorized items. Most of the descriptions are on Dutch and English. There are a lot more Dutch explanations of the efforts taken to build and maintain the place.

We loved Miniworld!

We popped in during a flying visit to Rotterdam and were so glad that we did.

We headed downstairs first to see the mini UK that's currently being built. A large section is now complete and we enjoyed seeing familiar sights. We also discovered the interactive elements, with buttons located on the barriers.

Going upstairs to the main room was a real Wow moment. The model is huge and the attention to detail was incredible. There's also a great surprise (that I won't spoil) every half an hour or so. We were there for an hour and a half and only left because it was closing for the day.

This is the type of attraction that might only draw in adults accompanying children, but there's something for everyone here and I'd definitely recommend a visit, whatever age you are.

Miniworld is really easy to find and is less than 10 minutes walk from the Centraal Station. Note that the opening days were different from those quoted on Google maps, so always check the Miniworld website before visiting.

if you are going with a small kid, reserve at least half of day. It's not huge, but verry attractive to little ones.

What a fantastic place to visit! The attention to detail and the stories behind the mini world are absolutely amazing. The people here are incredible, and definitely went far out of their way for us which we are hugely appreciative for. Thank you so so much for today - you have been the highlight of our time away for so many reasons. Thank you!

A miniature version of a great city. Doesn't have every building ofc but it's still really cool. I guess you kinda have to be Nero divergent to admire this kind of thing, I really enjoyed it. Definitely bring your older parents. Can't wait till the downstairs is open!

An amazing exhibition that has been built with care and love, our kid loved it and was a great way to explore the city and stay dry. Not cheap but worth it in our opinion.

My kid loved this. It’s like an easy alternative to Madurodam and cool for people with a special connection to the city of Rotterdam.

As a pairing of one miniature enthusiast and one not so much. We both enjoyed this experience. You can't help but be amazed by the scale of the whole thing. The work that has gone into custom builds of local landmarks, the tiny details which I'm sure you'll notice more and more of each visit and the day to night lighting make this an experience which will be long remembered. Even our hotel was immortalised in its original incarnation as a tea warehouse. We learned so much about Rotterdam and spent the next 2 days visiting the sights we'd seen in miniature here.

This tourist (domestic and foreign) attraction is really incredible! Rotterdam in miniature. The attention to detail is incredible. Yes it's small and you would probably spend less than an hour but it's really worth the admission price. This miniworld is to be enjoyed by kids and adults alike.
