Lee Grocer Mart

This is a well stocked convenience store right across the road from the Golden Sands Hotel, where we stayed for a week. We used it mostly for drinks, snacks, miscellaneous items, though it has a good selection of general groceries. The man at the checkout is very pleasant and speaks very good English

Very friendly owners who are helpful. They have a wide variety of drinks and snacks. I have learned a lot about the local area and various cultural events in Batu Ferringhi and Penang from the helpful owner. A great shop.

Most of the necessities needed if you are staying at the hotel across are available here.

The price is relatively cheaper than the convenience store nearby. Peanuts are fresh and without the rancid oil smell.

A lot of alcoholic beverages are sold here.

Owner is a Chinese who speaks mandarin.

Bought RM 200 worth of drinks here Tuesday and almost all the beers were flat. Money wasted. Please check before buying. We had to pour all the beers because I think it was not placed properly which caused all the beers to get spoil. AVOID IF POSSIBLE!
