Love the garden. There were not many parking spaces available. We visited during school term and low season. We managed to find a space. Not sure how it is like during school holidays or weekends.
The staff were friendly and helpful. They gave us all the information we need to know to make our experience a very memorable one. The only disappointment was we didn't see any monkeys, although we were assured there will be some. Anyway, we enjoyed exploring the different species of wild plants and read their benefits.
If you struggle with stairs or steps this exploration can be a bit challenging for you. The path led us the way up and down on way back. Halfway through there is a stop area where you can relax and help yourself with the drink of the day .
Love our experience and highly recommended.

This is a place in Penang Island any plantito or plantita should not miss. Lots of different kinds of plants can be found here. They have a gift store where you could buy stuff especially the pure vanilla extract that they process themselves, from the Vanilla vines they grow. Lovely!

Went here for a cooking class. Fantastic experience. Helpful chefs who were really great at breaking everything down and explaining it. Food was delicious. Would recommend getting tickets in advance for the cooking class We also had a guided walk around the gardens which was really insightful with Elaine as our guide. Front counter staff were friendly and helped us get a grab back to our accomodations.

We spent the morning admiring the plants and trees in the garden. It's very peaceful and very interesting. There is a 'fish spa' where you can dangle your feet in a stream to cool down, sip some tropical cold tea (courtesy of the garden staff) and have your feet cleaned by hundreds of little fish 🐟 called Guppies.
The storms have uprooted a few trees but work to repair the gardens are underway.
As an Arboricultural Consultant I am always looking for guidance on trees from locals and they were helpful. Maybe I should visit every year to inspect the trees 🌳 here 😊👍
Bug spray provided for free on arrival 👌

I had a fantastic time at this place. The garden was impeccably kept and teeming with diverse plants and wildlife. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure my visit with my family was unforgettable. I even had the pleasure of meeting Mr. G 🪿. Special thanks to the lady at the counter on Friday morning 27th October around 9am & Uncle!

So much fun! I learned a lot about spices and spice trade history in the garden tour. And the cooking class gives you in person knowledge about how to make curry paste and mortar and pestle YouTube!
You can't get that expert knowledge about the texture and sound and smell on youtube!

Wonderful green place next to beach. It would cost 27 RM per adult foreigner. Children who are under the age of 4 will have a free entry.

There is a tiny fish SPA area. It contains small fishes, but it is a lovely place to burn some time.

A lush hillside garden, eight acres (3.2 hectares) in size, with a huge variety of plants. I highly recommend taking the tour. The groups are typically small. Our guide was deeply knowledge about the plants and presented in entertaining way.

I have an interest in spices, and he was able to explain their origins, processing methods, varieties, and history. Well worth the visit.

Buying ticket with discounted price using student ID over the counter, only RM 20 for whole tour. A wrist band ticket, mosquito repellent and a map will be provided. Remember to request more and try to cover up every part of your body, I was bitten by a bug and swollen for several days.

Best parts:
- Drinking Station
They provide different beverages every day that made from different herbs. The brew I tried is the mixture of panda leaves, lemon grass and Stevia which are nice cool refreshers on a hot day.
- Fish Pedicures
It tickles and is comfortable when the small fish bites off your dead skin from feet. Feeling much cleaner after the fish pedicure.

Plants lovers or nature enthusiasts should try to visit here.

Fantastic place.
Upon walking through the entrance, it felt like I was entering into a secret nature garden.

While the pathways are man-made and there were little informational signs and direction pointers around, yet everything else seems untouched by human hands.

It was easy to feel like I have stepped into the jungle and found myself in a beautiful natural enclave of herbs, plants and flowers.

There was a little pond, little meandering streams, some ducks, geese and monkeys moving around.

I could have spent a longer time here, relaxing, enjoying the breeze, the sounds of insects were music to my ears, lulling me into a reflective mood.

We dropped-by enroute to Balik Pulau and back-end of island. If you love nature, a short walk in tropical setting, and learning about some local plants, this place is for you. The staff are friendly. There's limited roadside parking is the only downside although there weren't many visitors on the day of our visit (Sunday morning outside school holidays).

Today I was at Spice Garden and I went to the Garden Community day, it was a great learning experience and teamwork with Anne, the park is very beautiful and in front of the beach.
Great opportunity to be in connection with wild nature, you can also enjoy the reflexologist path 👣 interesting experience, you can meditate, do some yoga or just enjoying the relaxing sound

Absolutely loved this place. It's a drive away from George town but I highly recommend it. The environment is breathtaking. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The gardens are beautiful. I thoroughly enjoyed my trip there.

We drove pass by this little gem and design to get in which was a good decision . If you love greenness and love walking while exploring the plants, this place is quite charming to spend an hour here, it is like Bio diverse living garden museum of the spices and tropical plants, even though some plants are not well maintained but over all we like it here, also there are spices shop and cafe inside, recommend if you have a chilling day in Penang🌳

The Tropical Spice Garden had spices from the region and a guide explained uses by locals. Outstanding guide explained a variety of plants used at flavors and spices.

Go with a small group for the best experience and be able to ask questions.

The path are mostly gravel but easy to walk.

There’s a shop with spices from local sources.
