Merdeka Beach Resort

Went for a 2D1N trip from Penang to wind off. We got a great deal under #PromosiHaghiSenayan at RM140 for 1 seaview room/2pax.

The room was clean and just nice for us two. We could easily access the sidewalk along Pantai Merdeka and watch sunset and sunrise.

The promotion price didn't include breakfast and we planned to take breakfast at one of the stalls outside but the staff sent some breakfast to our room. Quite a lot, we got 2 Nasi Goreng Cina, 2 sandwiches, fruit and 2 drinks. Apparently every occupied room in the resort received the same breakfast. Not sure if someone buat kenduri or something haha but so grateful for the breakfast. Will come again in future👍

Didn't stay at the resort, only use their surau.
I understand it's private but they allow for public goers to Merdeka Beach to use this facility. Kudos.
Open room facility so it gives nice touch to the brach breeze.

A simple concept resort but very nice for a short holiday trip. Very clean room & bathroom. All staff are very friendly. A walking distance to the beach, the resort also has a swimming pool facility for all guest

Nice place...staff friendly at seri bayu cafe...nice food ( laksa and bihun sup daging ) nice to recomemded to other people when to visit to pantai merdeka .....also the place was clean and good having fresh air from the sea.....

Nice hotel, clean room, restaurant serve good food. The place is peaceful and beautiful. Great for family gathering. Pool suitable for children ~1.2m.

One of the famous destination to be visit in Kedah. Very crowd with people in holiday season or in weekend. Suitable for family gathering, meeting, holiday, enjoying ur self and many more. From here we can get a boat to go to Tanjung dawai, where you can but a variable of sea product. Also we can see a view of gunung Jerai and a very nice sun set in the evening

We're having lunch here at the beach.. Beautiful scenery.. They open stalls outside the resort.. Tasty and cheap food.. You don't need to stay here to enjoy the tasty food..

Queit and tranquil place. Lot of big tree within their compound which give me little bit chill and goosebump at night..nonetheless, they have fancy candle light dinner

Very nice and beautiful beach..also sold variety of food... suitable for everyone..
