Family Store Melaka

Great store where we could find products we needed.
Only thing I would comment on if the use of plastic bags at the cash desk. They are free and people are not encouraged at all to bring their own bags or recycle etc. Big difference with Europe.

Best place to shop for groceries in Melaka! I love this place, the underground parking is awesome (with Melaka hot sun), the store is so clean and everything is tidy. The shopping trollies are in good condition, all the staff are helpful. Special mention to the trolly man who is always so so helpful is guarding my trolly while i go pick up my car, he also helps me to load and carry the heavy bags. Today, he helped me to push to trolley to my car, I am so so impressed by his customer service. :)

Wow a new kid in town. Chance upon the basement supermarket Family store! Found a useful product cost 40% of what I paid back home. Must buy ! 👍👍👍

Muy buen supermercado con amplia variedad y buenos precios. Las verduras y frutas también parecen bastante frescos y tiene muchas opciones plant based para vegetarianos y veganos a precios accesibles.

Definitely a delightful time shopping for groceries at Family Store while at Mahkota Parade. Clean and neat store, able to get some food stuff which are locally made in Malacca which can't be found at my hometown. Bought my favourite imported product too. Eye opening experience to shop at different town/city once in a blue moon. A good shopping experience with reasonably priced for some products and friendly staff and comfortable ambience too. I support the management's lead to use bio-degradable plastic shopping bags as a way to show care and concern for Mother Earth, to reduce harm to the environment and marine life. Plastic waste often ended up in rivers,oceans ...Thumbs up, Family Store. 😀😀😀😀😀

It's a great store. My only wish is that they had packaged fresh chicken breast, pork, beef. I really dislike open meat, self service meat. I have no idea how long it has been sat there, it smells quite bad, i also found a dead bug in it.. One time, there was a very dirty looking man literally grabings chunks of meat with his bare hands, inspecting it and throwing it back. I find this repulsive.

Easily accessible if you are in central Melaka with all the groceries needed.
Not the cheapest of all the supermarkets but save you a long trip to other stores.

A bit expensive than the batu berendam branch.

Expensive fruits, no have fresh beef.

If you are walking ... go inside Parkson and take the escalator to the basement.
