Muzium Samudera (Flor de La Mar)

We've visited a couple of times. Great place for both individuals and families alike to learn a bit about the history of Melaka. Since it's air-conditioned, perfect for escaping the outdoor heat too 😆

Ticket price is reasonable at RM10/adult and RM5/child (Malaysian) which also covers entrance to Muzium TLDM across the road.

It was a memorable visit and my wife was impressed by the galleon mock up condition. I provided my wife with some documentary notes on the Flore De La Mar to make this trip more informative.

To get in you have to pay 20 RM for foreigner and 10 RM for malaysian citizen. If you bring senior citizen you will get 10 RM off from the ticket price.

They will take picture of you and you can redeem your photo as fridge magnet for 40 RM..

The inside of the boat will show you about the summary of malaka history and also a great photospot with some replica statue and tressure chest.

Everything was OK except the photo souvenir staff, i was about to take my wife's picture with a souvenir background while holding our photo souvenir and one staff suddenly grabbed the photo and told us to pay for it, its not polite at all

Pretty cool replica of an old Portuguese Galleon. The exhibits inside it tell the story of Melaka.

Was last at this museum when I was a child and thought that the ship was cool and I still think so upon visiting again recently. Also quite interesting to learn about Melaka's history as a port even though the museum is not very big. A must-see for me.

Beutiful ship in the city, not in the sea. It looks like travel back to year 1500. Going inside, there's a lot of information available to be read, mainly focus on the history of Malacca itself. It is a 3 deck shop and you can climb to the top too. Recommended to visit.

Interesting place to learn about the Portuguese & Dutch invasion in Melaka. They got a great collection of fascinating artifacts. A must go if you’re visiting the city of Melaka.

Being a naval man, this was a must for me. A very well laid out museum full of history and things to see. I loved the photos and navy toys on display.
