Beautifully preserved historic church located right in the heart of Melaka. This is an Anglican church with regular services. The architecture is beautiful and is a nod to Melaka's colonial past. There are often many tourists found milling outside the church hoping to sneak a peek inside it.

Christ Church Melaka is a very nice red church. As you can see, inside it looks very nice and grand. On the pathway of going to the church, they are selling some keychains and coins of Melaka places and interesting things. So, if you ever want to buy a souvenir for your friend(s) or family, come here to buy them!

A Dutch-style church set in Melaka's ancient town, surrounded by a variety of local restaurants and pleasant atmosphere. Popular tourists spot where you will come across visitors from across the world. The Chinese from China loves this area. You will see the ladies wearing traditionally nyonya dresses posing for photographs. Don't mistook them for local ladies.

Historical spot with many options to dine at corner of this church. We stayed a night with my close friend in this city to enjoy the scenery. A must visit again now that we have our respective families. It will not take more time to take a bus from Singapore to this place, and from this place to KL Malaysia. I will for sure visit again this historical place with the wife and kids so I can give them the chance to explore and learn culture of this heritage city in Malaysia. See you soon Melaka!

Nice well-kept site. Good meeting point. City bus stop is beside the church and also for many tour buses. Souvenir stands and some tasty street food available.

Iconic red church in Melaka. Didn’t go inside but it is a pleasant and scenic walk around the church and nice to talk photos. Many trishaw men are parked outside which can take you on a tour if you are too tired to walk.

Iconic landmark of Malacca located just across the river from Jonker street. It’s the oldest church in Malaysia dated back to 18th century!

Beautiful red coloured colonial era buildings situated at the centre of Melaka city. A must visit place when in Melaka. Strolling around the area and you will find other beautiful old historical buildings that still well preserved.

The church is a well known landmark in Malacca and is worth checking out when in the old part of the city. Malacca has a lot of history and was under three different colonial powers and before that, a powerful sultunate and this diverse history shows. This church is reminiscent of the Dutch colonial rule in Malacca.

Lovely place with free entry, very close to jonker walk, St Paul Hill, and A Famosa to name a few. At the entrance there’s also a small stall selling items related to Christianity that you can buy. Worth a visit.

Loved the historic value and photo ops..... it was a Sunday when I was outside at around 11 a.m., and there was an actual church service going on. Lots of tourists entered (& thankfully remained at the rear) while said service was going on, but I felt it would be disrespectful to also do so, and so remained outside.

i think this is the images everyone has to have when anyone mentioned Malacca. for me it was, because i went there when i was a kid with my school excursion. the iconic red building of christ church. it's like you've never been to Malacca if you didn't take any photos with this building. a very historical place. there are some stalls along the streets selling souvenirs. and across the river is the famous jonker walk shopping street, very nice place to visit during the day.
