Daorae Korean BBQ Restaurant

Great service, good food. The spring onion side dish was especially good. Had to ask the servers to not to start cooking the next batch of meat because we were still eating the ones previously cooked. They were very accommodating and even changed the hot plate for us without asking.

Always a favourite. We took the set for 3-4 pax. Meal was so satisfying

First time visiting and I love it. The food is good and the servicer is very attentive too. I will definitely visit again when I'm in Malacca. Cost wise is considered reasonable. Slightly on the high side.

Ordered the galbi stew which was really delicious - generous chunks of tender melt in your mouth beef cubes that fall off the bones + soft potatoes that were well marinated in the sweet savoury red sauce. There was free flow banchan (loved the spinach, beansprouts, kimchi and caramelised sweet potatoes) + the staff gave us a complimentary vegetable pancake as well (crispy on the edges, soft and chewy in the centre). Ended off the meal with a wedge of sweet and refreshing watermelon yum! Staff were all very attentive and would actively offer to replenish the banchan, highly recommend this place!

For those who does not want to read on, the verdict is: Best in Melaka.

We arrived on a Sunday evening and ordered the pancake, rice balls, pork neck and pork with special Daorae sauce. They helped us BBQ the pork which is a lovely touch. The service is excellent and the food is superb as well.

You should definitely try this place if you are here. You will not be disappointed.

This place was great. We never ate korean BBQ before, so the staff had to explain the whole thing to us. They were really friendly and helpful. The food was great and BBQ at the table was a really fun experience. I can recommend this place!

Been to Daorae like many times and I just discovered this awesome dish called “Bo-ssam” pork belly served with terrific oyster kimchi.

Once you try this kimchi, forget about the rest! This is really good! 🤩🤗🥰

Pretty good Korean food in Malacca. The portions were quite large as well.
Only thing is that the location on Google Maps is wrong. The restaurant should be at the corner of the shophouses not further down the road

The food is amazing. Staffs are friendly, efficient and well trained. The concept of the restaurant is simple and unique. You don't have to worry about the smoke as the have proper ventilation provided for their customers and everything is originated from Korea. Their kimchi soup is excellent.

A great place to dine in with your family or friends if you have a great taste for Korean.

The service was very fast and good. Foods were nice and reasonable price... Recommended!!

Staff cooked well and polite.
Food taste good but only eat if you can afford to pay Rm50-70 per meal for some good food.
Overall recommended.
