The hospitality was unmatched. Instructors were top notched and knowledgeable. Kind enough to teach us the ropes in diving even though we had zero knowledge. Turtle bay for sure has a place in our hearts

I spent a week at the diving school and did three dives every day and visited all of their diving spots. I would like to recommend them to each and every one of you. From the first moment I arrived without accommodation etc. they were very helpful and super nice. Every day it was great fun to go out in small groups where they also took my wishes into account during the dive, such as taking my photos. Definitely five stars for this diving school, I will definitely come back.

Really good experience. We were lucky to be diving in small group (3 experienced divers plus 1-2 guides, Aniq and Edwin) and we enjoyed the dives a lot. The briefings were very well structured and clear, under the water the guides were very careful and checking on us frequently. We haven’t taken any course, as we are already certified, however, I did quite a challenging dive with an instructor (Nurul) and she was a very good guide and dive buddy under water. Our impression is that safety is a priority for them, also when there are experienced divers in the group. The dive sites are very cool and the mood on land and under water is very relaxed and pleasant.
Should we be back to Perenthians, we will for sure dive with Turtle Bay again.

Great OWD course experience, thanks to all the staff (Edwin, Aniq, Azwan, Koci) for teaching and looking out for me and all the questions I had :) groups are small and the instructors prioritise safety and clear explanations above all. They are also really funny and pleasant. Will definitely come back!

We looked at a few dive shops up and down long beach and it was an instant decision as Turtle bay divers made and instant impression on me and my partner. Very attentive, very friendly, professional and had a sense of humour, (it was a no given decision to do our dive with them.)

We originally just wanted to experience diving with discovery scuba, we continued to complete our scuba diver certification and finally upgraded to our open water PADI; the team didn’t force us or were pushy to sell or upgrade us and let us make our our decisions when we were ready, Which I really appreciated.

I was anxious to dive to such depths, but left feeling super confident and wanted to dive deeper. ;)

Our dive instructor Aniq, was amazing, highly experienced , professional and still made us laugh during our course and I always felt comfortable in his presence in and out of the water.

Yakob,(the owner) is so humble, hilarious and gave us all the time in the world, he really made us feel comfortable.

We also did a fun dive with Nick & Azri , once again couldn’t fault them,
They too deserve heaps of credit, for their professionalism, experience and left us with best memory of The pinnacle ( temple of the sea ) dive sight ( which I highly recommend.)

When I think of Turtle bay divers I think instantly of family, you can tell the team really looks after each other and it’s guests, I’ll always remember and cherish the memory of completing my Dive padi with this crew!

We had a fantastic time diving with Turtle Bay doing our AOW! They're based on Perhentian Kecil's Long Beach which has tonnes of great restaurants. Yaakub was our instructor who was very patient and helpful; he explained everything thoroughly before our dives. The dive centre is great, with all the equipment you need to borrow, and everyone is very friendly. We did five dives on the AOW and then an additional three fun dives, one of which you get for free after completing the AOW. All of the dive locations are amazing, no more than 20mins by boat; we saw turtles, sharks, moray eels, rays, cuttlefish and lots of different fish which Yaakub helped us identify after the dives, plus there are a couple of great wrecks which have incredible schools of fish and other marine life. I recommend diving at the Pinnacle (Temple of the Sea). Like other dive centres in the Perhentians, the dives are really well-priced, and we felt super safe diving with Turtle Bay. Although we stayed at Ombak Resort in Coral Bay, there was an easy 10min path to reach the dive centre, and they were easily reachable via WhatsApp. If you're planning a dive trip, the Perhentians are very easy to reach by a short flight to Kota Bharu (from KL, Penang etc.), from where Turtle Bay can organise the bus and boat transfer for you which is what we did. The water is crystal clear, there are so many stunning beaches on both Kecil and Besar and loads of places to rent SUPs, kayaks etc. and Turtle Bay lets you use snorkel gear for free. I highly recommend diving with Turtle Bay, whether you're diving for the first time, doing a course or just fun diving!

We have been diving with Turtle Bay Diver for so many years. They are super professional & experienced divers. Their equipments are great. Staffs are nice & helpful, very systematic dive centre! We always enjoy our dive trip with turtle bay!

We had an awesome experience at Turtle Bay Divers doing our OW course! Edwin was super helpful and supportive answering questions leading up to and during the trip.

Azwan, the instructor for our course, was extremely patient and professional with a great sense of humor. He helped us through any issues we had during the dives, was an amazing teacher and made us feel comfortable and safe.

I had issues with my ears and equalising. Azwan made sure we descended as slow as I needed each dive which really helped. The team at Turtle Bay Divers also showed support and provided advice on how to address my ear issues.

All round the place feels very welcoming and has a relaxed atmosphere. It feels like a family, and the whole team knows your face and name.

We definitely recommend Turtle Bay Divers!

We did 8 fun dives with Turtle Bay Divers - diving was great, not much current and plenty to see! Our guide Nick and the manager Edwin took care of everything for us, the crew were wonderful!

Such a great time diving with the Turtle Bay team. Everyone is so kind, helpful and professional. Very responsive to requests and made it effortless to book and dive as much as I wanted (within reason) at a super reasonable price. Can’t wait to go back.

Staff were super friendly and had such a wholesome family vibe. The people you meet are all having the same goal of exploring the marine life. The marine life was lively and stunning. Hands down the most life changing experience.

Big shoutout to Azwan for being a patient, informative and fun instructor throughout the course. The skills may get a little overwhelming but you are very safe in his hands - literally the best. We had the pleasure to do a fun dive with Yaakub as well - a very relaxed, reassuring and chill dive at the Pinnacle.

The people and diving left such a great impression on us, we are already thinking about doing our Advance soon!

To those who are debating where to do your course, Turtle Bay has been operating for many years and have super professional instructors. Their social media may not be as active, but they are very much extremely busy. Highly recommend!

We sussed out 5 dive centres on Long Beach and decided on Turtle Bays for our OWC. Why? Because the people there. They were so much better than the other 4 dive centres.

They spoke fantastic English, took time getting to know us, weren’t pushy, had humour, banter and great personalities. And so glad we did our OWC here as it was the highlight of our Malaysian trip and will forever have a special place in our hearts.

Excellent dives with Yaakub and his crew. I passed my Advanced Open Water in 2 days (3 dives/day) and it was a wonderful experience thanks to Gan my instructor, and the others. Always felt safe and had a lot of fun. Don't hesitate to trust them ! Great dive center.

My partner and I completed our open water certification with Turtle Bay Divers in June 2023, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our diving instructor, Yaakub, who also happens to be the owner, made the course truly memorable.

Yaakub is not just an excellent instructor; he's genuinely personable. From our first meeting, his friendly and easygoing demeanor put us at ease. Throughout the course, his kindness and patience made learning to scuba dive stress-free. His wealth of knowledge about diving and marine life added excitement to every lesson.

It's evident that he loves what he does. During our dives, he took the time to point out marine life, especially his favorite, the juvenile boxfish, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to our underwater adventures.

Had a lot of fun diving with the team at Turtle Bay Divers. They are based on Long Beach, Perhentian Kecil. I did 4 dives with them, including a night dive. We dived in small groups, with ratio of 1-4 divers per guide. I was travelling solo, but everyone was so friendly and I didn't feel lonely at all.

For this dive trip, I had a very specific goal in mind - to practise deploying SMB. I mentioned this during the first dive briefing and everyone was very supportive and helped me to achieve my goal. They were all very patient when I messed up, dropped my spool and did all sorts of funny things. Thank you eveyone!

Got an awesome experience with these people!! They bring you all the information about the best places to dive, the instructors are really kind and have a lot of patiente and the equipment is also nice! Just nice words to these people, I would absolutely recommend this place

The place is spacious and clean. There is a nice chillout area where briefings/debriefs are held. Coffee, tea and water are provided. Luggage storage is also available. Equipments are well maintained. Staffs are professional yet friendly. Definitely a great place to learn/go for a dive.

Adlin, our dive instructor made our whole open water course fun and interesting. There was never a dull moment learning under Adlin. Most importantly, we always felt that our safety were under good care when with Adlin.

Our fun dive was lead by Yaakub, who is really knowledgeably in what he does. Briefing was done professionally and comprehensively with lots of humour. Under the sea, Yaakub spots/finds marine life like second nature. Again, we felt our safety were greatly looked after under Yaakub.

As a Diver myself, I have long been looking forward to being able to Dive with my daughter and it means lot to me personally. This month my daughter (12 y.o.) completed her PADI's Junior Open Water Diver Course in Pulau Perhentian Kecil with Instructor Mr Anand from Turtle Bay Divers. Mr Anand and the team were both patient and incredibly professional, teaching Maria with safety always as the top priority and adjusting both theory and practical tasks according to her individual learning styles. He was taking as much time as my daughter needed to get the technical elements absolutely mastered. Thanks for such a brilliant and well orchestrated course. We truly had an amazing time and my daughter has learnt so much. She is already looking forward to completing the PADI Junior Advanced Open Water course in coming months! Will definitely be recommending you guys to any friends who decide they want to learn.
