MIMPI Perhentian Resort

The hotel is suitable for travellers with luggage because of easy access from/to long beach jetty and have lift to high level rooms. The hotel has good food and many good food choices nearby hotel as well. I give 4 stars for service because it took very long to get iron. I ended up not waiting for it.

On my second visit to Perhentians, me and my partner decided to spend 2 nights here cause the resort looked nice - we typically move around between resorts on both islands to check out what's on offer. I can confidently say that this is the best place to stay on the island if you don't mind paying a little extra.
1. The aircon is strong, unlike most other places
2. Rooms are cleaned daily, unlike most other places
3. Water pressure is strong and you can have a nice relaxing shower, unlike most other place
4. Wifi is decent, but can be spotty depending on how far your room is to the closest router. Bear in mind that most places don't have Wifi except in the reception area.
5. Breakfast is decent, and the buffet offers a variety of food options.

I'd advise eating at other places on the Long Beach mainly because the food at the hotel restaurant is on the pricey side, but worth it if you don't mind paying the premium. Definitely worth staying here for a good night's sleep, especially if moving between different resorts is your thing.

The hotel is in a great location, they provide wonderful service at the rooms, restaurant or reciption. I enjoyed their delicious food for 4 days! The staff were extremely friendly. I never carried my bag since I arrived their office in besut till I came back to besut again, they made sure to send it to the car! Really appreciate your service! Thanks!!!!

Amidst the tranquil embrace of Mimpi Perhentian Resort, I found myself enchanted by a tapestry of experiences. The facilities, a symphony of convenience, stood in close proximity to the welcoming embrace of the jetty, ushering me into a realm of serenity.

The culinary odyssey that awaited was nothing short of a masterpiece. Each meal, a vibrant canvas painted with flavors, left an indelible mark upon my senses, a delicious reverie.

As I wandered through this paradise, the pools, shimmering like liquid sapphires, were a revelation. They whispered secrets of leisure, inviting me to immerse myself in their cool, azure depths, a harmonious respite from the world.

Yet, it was from the balcony of my abode that I beheld nature's own magnum opus. The view from my room was an awe-inspiring vista, a canvas brushed with the hues of the heavens, igniting my spirit with wonder.

Yet, beyond all this, it was the boat staff who wove the true enchantment of my stay. Their service was not a mere transaction but a heartfelt sonnet of assistance and friendship. They navigated our island sojourns with grace, and their genuine warmth painted a lasting memory on the canvas of my heart.

In the end, my time at Mimpi Perhentian Resort left me with a desire, a longing to return to this realm of dreams, where each moment was a brushstroke in the masterpiece of life, a symphony of artistry in every detail.

Great location and well equipped rooms. A fully stocked fridge with soft drinks an additional bonus. Very close to the beach a great restaurant with no alcohol policy is a plus. Breakfast included was also very good. Highly recommended place. Friendly and welcoming staff.

Coming a bit late.. the check in process smooth and fast. The room is ok even though it a bit berpasir.. but im ok with that. The view from the room is the best and i love it soo much. Will definitely come again there. and i like the fact they have labu besar for us to wash our feet. feel like kampung.

We booked the hotel's exploration package, including snorkeling and three meals.
First of all, the hotel staff are very enthusiastic.
The hotel's front desk, restaurant waiters, and room cleaners are all very, very enthusiastic.
The hotel's Thai cuisine is quite authentic and highly recommended! !
Also, I must thank the hotel's guides, ARA and FARHANA, two ladies. They are the ones who let me, who can't swim at all, experience the fun of snorkeling. 😝😝Their patient guidance took away my panic in the water. ARA also took us to hike on Windmill Hill and saw the most beautiful scenery. 🤩🤩ARA took us to LONG BEACH to see an awesome bonfire show. thank you all!We will miss you!🥳🥳🥳

We had a very great experience during our 2D1N stay at MIMPI! The ambience, food, location, staffs and recreational activities is all good! We want to give credit to ARA for being really kind to assist us every time we need some help! Overall the stay was excellent and definitely will repeat again ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We stayed here for three nights, they have buffet breakfast, pool, and other facilities. The location is perfect with amazing beach view and close to the jetty. The staff here are very friendly and helped us a lot for arranging the transportation, scuba diving, and so on. It’s definitely worth staying longer.

It was a pleasant stay at MIMPI. The staffs are very attentive, the food is awesome, rooms are comfortable, beds/sofas/bath slippers are super soft. Stayed in family suite facing the ocean, really nice waking up to the awesome view.

Went to MIMPI spa twice for body massage & was attended by Kak Arra, damn her skills are top-notch. Please look for her. Overall I had a good time there, thank you MIMPI. Hope to see you again real soon

We’ve been at Mimpi during our company trip super excellent service, staff were friendly and hospitable, food was good they fed us well with seafoods, and the hotel view facing in the ocean is superb. For Room service - everyday they change towels and beddings. What i like most is the water super clear. I’d like to go back there if given a chance. Greatly recommended.

For those travelling with children or elderly people.. This Resort is for you.. There is elevator and ramp for your stroller / wheelchair.. DONT Worry.. Plus the resort next to jetty.

We took the FULL BOARD Package and we have NO regrets at all !!! I could give more stars to this resort!!! My husband & I really enjoyed the room, the view, the food was very delicious. Although we had to go for the set menu on the 2nd day instead of the buffet, maybe because there weren't many people. But, I'm telling you guys, we really enjoyed the food choices from the menu. The chef's food is delicious. + there are 2pc bands during dinner time - he is very good singer. he sings slow and romantic songs. Love it, and love the food, love the staff.

Me & My husband, last minute plan to Perhentian Island. We made reservation directly to the hotel's sales / reservation staff. Attended by Shafiq. He was very polite and helpful. I can say, my husband gave him a hard time when he booked with many questions and requests. But, I was impressed with syafiq. He was so patient with him.

Arriving at the jetty, I was a little disappointed because I could see many boats parked in front of the beach, the scenery was not like that 7-8 years ago :-(.

But when I checked into my room. I got a different feeling vibe. I like the room. Clean, Love the bathroom, bed, balcony. shower water pressure, overall, I am very happy with the cleanliness in the room. Yes, the floor feels a bit sandy, but hey.. you're on a beach vacation. Plus there are slippers in the room. I have no complaint.

inside the mini bar fridge , pepsi, lemon ice tea, cincau, mineral water, nuts, cookies are free. We love it..

Not to forget the staff... they are ALL very friendly, very helpful, they helped our luggage's from the moment we arrived at the Mimpi land office - jetty - resort and back to land. Very convenient and relaxing holiday for us.

last but not least, we would like to thank you to Syafiq, Suhaili, Pamela, Chef, and the lady at the reception team, bellman staff.. for making our holiday beautiful and memorable even though the Perhentian island is not what it used to be but the water is still clear and beautiful. Only the beach little bit crowded for us. Don't blame us, we came from Rawa Island.. Hehehehe...

Opsss, only one thing, you should have male masseur at your resort spa. I am not comfortable to allow young lady to massage my husband. Little bit weird when your resort are not serving alcohol but in spa, you allow this young lady to massage a guy ? its not a good impression especially to married woman.. hahahahaha...Just my 2 cents.

Our stay was lovely. We asked for a change of room to the ocean side and they were super flexible to accommodate our request with the most ease. Overall they were always helpful, location was perfect and we loved the room and cleanness.

The staff were very friendly n helpful. Just arrive at the reception office in Besut Jetty n everything will be taken care off. Nice rooms. Recommend the sea facing rooms. One of the best island resort. 5 star for sure.
