BuBu Long Beach Resort

very relaxing stay at this hotel. friendly staff, nice rooms with a great view from the balcony. Beach beds are comfortable, there are almost no boats on the beach, water is clear and warm. the restaurant on the territory of the hotel is simply wonderful. the dishes are very tasty, the portions are large. I would like the breakfast to be a little more varied. But considering that the hotel is located on the island, it is generally enough.

Great time spent at BuBu resort! It was our base to explore Perenthian Islands.

Restaurant is great, highly recommended to book in advance the 5-course romantic dinner experience, you will not regret

Rooms are nice but air conditioning system should be improved, every hour the system needs a restart. Quite annoying especially during hot nights. Seems it’s a general issue as last day we saw other people complaining with the staff for same reason

Amazing location - beautiful scenery of the bay. Tranquil location and perfect to catch up on personal time. The staff at the resort restaurant are very accommodating. Definitely wake up to a morning iced latte and if you’re up for a cocktail can strongly recommend the Mai Tai beverage.

Staff were simply fantastic Titus Ali, at reception, Jackson ,Wei and Jet at restaurant were very understanding and accommodating .rooms were good comfortable large beds
Downside kitchenette in toilet area!! No viewing mirror in bedroom .shower good pressure .general apoeareance well kept good decor .

It was a wonderful stay overall. Still enjoy the foods and cocktails served as usual. Staff are friendly and attentive. Room is clean and in good conditions. The long beach is still clean and there are plenty of cafe & local stalls along the beach but Bubu still served the best foods

Beachfront & good access to the jetty, Restaurants, WiFi, spa & massage. Nice views with nature. Mostly occupied with tourists outside from Malaysia. It was expensive but worth it.

Rooms were clean almost air conditioner leaked on the second night. food was good luckily，because nothing much to do on the island. Suggest the Resort to put effort on recycling issues. Long beach is full with man made rubbish now.

Luxury!
- Rooms are perfect - very clean and have a beautiful view of the beach
- The beach is amazing - white sand and crystal clear water absolutely fantastic. The complimentary cocktails in the evening are a super added bonus.
- I would also rate the food highly as there is a large variety of options from Western to Asian, we particularly liked the BBQ fish
- Finally I would definitely recommend the snorkeling trip as we saw many fish, coral, turtles and a reef shark!

Also if you have the energy I would also recommend the hike to the windmills where you can see a beautiful view of the bay. It’s only 30 mins to get up there and we managed to get up with flip flops.

We had a really pleasant stay here and really struggled leaving. Special note to Karl and J who went out of their way to help us with pretty much anything.

The rooms are nothing special but to be fair, if you are in your room you’re not doing the Perhentians right! Ha. Our room was the closest to the restaurant and we were concerned about noise but we didn't experience any issues.

The service was outstanding. We went during the month of Ramadan so lots of places to eat on the beach were closed but there were still plenty of options for food and drinks.

We did hiking, snorkelling and my husband went scuba diving. We took a boat to the other island to snorkel, then walked to Tuna Bay resort for lunch where the boat came back to collect us so we weren’t ever ‘stuck’

I can highly recommend this resort. Something to note, a lot of guests from other hotels came here for drinks because the other hotels didn’t all serve alcohol.

Again, great stay and it made our following stay at the next hotel difficult because the service just didn’t match that of Bubu’s.

Perfect for any occasion. This resort is everything you could ask for. You arrive and instantly feel like total relaxation and holidays. The staff is super friendly. Great breakfast. Amazing dinner option in the restaurant. The massages are a really nice addition to this relaxing place. The best snorkeling spot from both islands is directly in front of the resort.
Would definitely come again and can highly recommend the Bubu Resort!

Nice views from the sea view rooms. Super nice and relaxed people working at BuBu. Love the complementary happy hour drinks and snacks. Best spot on Long Beach near the pier, where you have the best snorkeling spot of the entire beach, maybe even the entire island. BuBu also has nice complementary beach beds with natural made shades. The restaurant I can also recommend, especially the fish from the BBQ. Definitely coming back. Thank you

We booked the package of full board for 3 days 2 nights in a group of 8. We were given breakfast, lunch, tea time and dinner. Each meal have starter, main course and drink. For dinner, there are dessert.
The package also given snorkeling trip. The snorkel guide Fairuz is very professional and take care of us safely. The hotel staffs are very nice and friendly. The chef, Mat in Bubu Resort's cooking skill is up to standard. The food is very nice and great.
Thank you very much to the Bubu team. We had a great time at Bubu Resort. Special thanks to the team Mandy, Kat, Hui Min, Fairuz, and Yea Sin.

Really great place to stay. We stayed for 4 nights, and I know I will want to stay there again if I ever return to the island!

I don't understand how people could rate this down just because there was no TV in the room...! The goal of a beach vacation is to vacation by the beach right? 😂

Anyway, great crew. It is a perfect vacation for us!

We stay in two king beds room.
Small room, can't walk two person side by side ..becoz of two king size beds in the room .. hehehe..

Bathroom was ok. Shower booth is big enough. But cleanness need to be improved. Room was clean.

Small refrigerator.
One umbrella is in the bath room .
Safe box available in the closet
Bed was firm and clean.
Tiny room but we'll designed.

Beach is absolutely beautiful..
Many restaurants are around.
Staff were friendly.

We arrived around 5:20, no bell boy was in the hotel. And we carried out baggages from jetty to the reception.. it need to be improved.
It was not easy to carry baggages without proper paved walk path, my baggage struck in the beach sand..

Better arrange to arrive early to have bell boy service.

The best island I have been to so far. Not very crowded, beautiful crystal clear water.
The rooms are nice clean and comfortable. Will go back again.

I love Bubu Long Beach Resort and Santai restaurant. My favorite bar for my Spritz!! 😁 With the convenience resort and lovely staffs. This place is not only charming but also wonderful place on Long beach in Perhentien Island 😁 They served you alcohols and accept the credit card as well. With free wifi but sometimes doesn't work just try to keep deep breath and be calm. Please concern we are on the amazing island so enjoy the beach, listen the rhythm of the wave, get some sunbath and recharge your energy with the marvelous nature. So don't be upset if you don't have any television in your room!!! Enjoy the life on the beach!!!

Perfect location.. perfect hospitality.
Everything is perfect about this resort. They welcome their guests with such care. Welcome drinks are awesome.
The view from the balcony of the room is just divine.

We only hang out at the bar of this resort, but the conditions were really good. You have an amazing view to the Cristal blue ocean. The wiffi is the best we had in the island so far, and you only can have access of the WiFi password if you consume more than 10RM per person. Unfortunately, the staff could be nicer with the outside costumers. The food is amazing but the prices are ridiculous! The cheapest plate is 22RM and the deserts are more than 30RM. Also the cocktails are from 35RM up.

Lovely hotel, friendly and helpful staff. The bbq fish is amazing! Will definitely be going back.

The location is great, villas are very clean, love their nasi goreng kampung with fried fish, prawns and chicken wings, the prime beef sandwich is very yummy. Service is great too, staff are very friendly and helpful. The only thing is you need to bring own toothbrush and toothpaste or buy next door. The sea is so clean and beautiful
