Ocean Blue Cafe pulau perhentian

One of the better dining place this side of the island. Open from lunch till late dinner.

Service is a bit slow but they are a mom and pop establishment. Just relax with the slow place of island living and you will enjoy the moment.

Tried most of the limited menu items but almost all of them are tasty and delicious.
Pricing is bit on the high side but is actually the cheapest among the rest.

Well recommended and dining with beach sand under your feet hits a different vibe.
They also offer water taxis and do snorkling tours as well.

Their polite attitude and demeanour is amazing and the experience hits a different feel so different from the mainland

Me and my partner ate the 2 times dinner and it was fantastic. We had to wait a bit as we ordered a fresh fish from the grill but is was really delicious and also very fair prices. The family is supper sweet and supper friendly. The only thing was that we forgot our mosquito spray ;) we would definetly come back.

This familly is so kind, we enjoyed eating, renting sea taxi and masks for snorkelling here. The food is not as cheap as other places in the island, but it's for sure the cheapest on this beach, so give it a try, you won't be disappointed it's really good, you may end up eating here every days !

During our stay at Perhentian Kecil we visited the Ocean Blue Cafe two times for dinner and it was absolutely incredible.
We had fish barbecue the first night and Seafood Tom Yam the second night. Everything tasted delicious and the staff was so kind and made us feel at home.
Located directly on the shore, we had a chill evening under a star-filled sky.

We also did one of the Boat Tours offered by Ocean Blue, we decided on the 3 stop tour. We had an incredible morning at the Fish Garden, Shark Point and Turtle Point. We got to see many many corals, fishes, sharks!! Such an incredible atmosphere.

What a lovely family! They are very kind, attentive and speak very impressive English. We are vegetarian and they specially made versions of dishes for us, they were full of flavour and a variety of vegetables. Prices are much more reasonable than the hotels/resorts nearby. Great opening times too, serve food till 10pm unlike nearby options. Thank you 😊 🙏

Great place, highly recommended. We had dinner there three times during our stay in Perhentians. The grilled sea bass was so good, and the Maggi goreng was excellent too. The fried rice is also very tasty. The owners are a wonderful family, so nice and kind. Wonderful memories there, thank you

It‘s a wonderful family runned business. The food is great, Malay & Thai classics are very good, absolutely fresh and delicious. Owners and staff are super friendly. Definitely best in class in the area.

You can have lunch and dinner right at the beach and a very lovely location family will cook amazing food and the waiters are so friendly and speak good english. The food is not expensive but very good quality and delicious. Local dishes but you can also have burgers too. Also have lots of vegetarian options available 🙂 definitely recommend for some beach Dinner and sunset views 💛They also have their own water Taxi which is great service and will make sure you are safe👌

Small restaurant on the beach with very delicious food and warm and friendly service with family atmosphere. Taxi boat service and tours are also offered and are always reliable and absolutely in time.

Amazing dining option. We were a huge family group, and super satisfied with the food and service. The nasi goreng kampung, grilled barramundi and the satay ayam were especially good. Decent hardworking folks, so bring a bit of patience.

The ocean Blue cafe is a perfect place for having lunch and dinner! The food is cooked fresh and traditionally and is super delicious. They have also the option to order a lot for vegetarians. They also have a Taxi Service for the Perhentian islands which is also very great and reliable. The driver is driving safe and is taking care to not damage any corals. The Cafe and Taxi stand is run by a really lovely family <3

The food is a 10/10, the best fried rice i have had in whole malaysia! Very friendly people working here, who also offered taxi service for a fair price. The two kids are super cute, we miss them already! Wish this restaurant the best for the future, keep making such yummy food! 👍

The food is perfect, we ate everyday there and it was every time delicious. They also offer tours like snorkeling , I recommend them, fair price and the driver really wants to make the best out of the tour. The whole family is so lovely, helpful and the kids are so cute. May allah bless these people!

Very affordable, fresh, local, tasty food that could please anyone (vegetarian options available). The staff are lovely, the kids help around making the atmosphere even nicer. And the view is pitch perfect, thank you for the many great meals ate here!

Best food, best service and in my opinion the best atmosphere. We had dinner all over Malaysia and this was one of the, if not the best dinner we had. Traditional Malaysian prwan dishes served by the most lovely family. Island life seems to be ok here ❤

An amazingly kind family that runs the Ocean Blue Café. We just walked by and they just gave us some tips how to best explore the environment. Actually they were closed but still so kind to provide to us some beverages so we were able to continue our hike.

Great food, really authentic Malaysian food with wonderful staff! 100% recommend.

Friendly, family restaurant with quality food. We really liked coming here as an alternative to the resort food. It is a little more exciting and more local style. Also the prices are more normal, but given the destination you will pay a premium. So it was very smart to open here ;) And i love to support a smart, quality local business. They don’t serve alcoholic beverages, but don’t mind if you bring your beer along. Awesome!
