Back then, before the wind turbine lookout point, the banana plantation was the place to go for scenic views of perhentian islands from up the hill. You could see long beach from the banana plantation and if you go higher up, you could even see d'lagoon beach. The plantation has been reclaimed by nature and the location is now enveloped in thickets. The trail leading to the abandoned plantation is covered in bushes. I went hiking up there a few times back in the day. The last attempt was in 2008 and by that time the trail going up was inaccessible due to thickets. And that's the reason why this viewpoint has largely been forgotten. It is still possible to go up there to explore this look out point. Bring a machete or a sickle with you to clear up the overgrown bush along the trail. Never go up there alone by yourself. Go in a group and bring adequate supply of food and water.

Go up there if you're adventurous enough. Hopefully the younger generation would revive this hilltop view point. Absolutely magnificent views from the hill. Kincir angin viewpoint is beautiful but nothing compares to this viewpoint. All it needs is some clearing up of the trail from the undergrowth or make a new trail. It's a more steeper climb uphill compared to the windmill view point.
