The Tan Kim Seng Bridge is a small pedestrian and traffic bridge over the River Malacca and links Dutch Square on the south bank with Chinatown on the north. The bridge is named for the wealthy 19th century Chinese philanthropist, Tan Kim Seng, who donated it to the city of his birth.

I loved the vibe of this area. The bridge is centrally located and you’ll end us being here if you’re in Melaka.

The prettiest view of the river from the bridge. If you find a good spot, you'll be able to see the wonderful sunset go down very smoothly. You gotta watch out. It is a very crowdy bridge with many cars and people. You should be able to take lots of good pictures and head over to Jonker Street nearby for some local delicacy once you're done.

A most picturesque sight day or night. Watch the cruise boats pass under the bridge, don't forget to wave at the passengers. At night the river view lights up to a beautiful ethereal look. Just watch out in the late evenings, don't stand under the big tree as many birds droppings come down. Walk around both sides of the bridge.
