The most amazing corals and fish we have ever seen while snorkeling. We have snorkeled in Thailand and Philippines before but they can’t really compete with Perhentian Islands. You can definitely see here that this is not even nearly as popular and ruined by people.
There’s just so much to see and witness. I even saw a 1,5 meter shark here (and bunch of little sharks too). The big one made me bit nervous but we just swimmed together in harmony.
Best thing about travelling in off season is that we were the only people here ❤

We went snorkelling here during our stay at Perhentian Island. This is one of the spot if we join the Long Trip snorkelling frm Perhentian. Among other spots are Shark point, turtle point and romantic beach. For newbies or non-swimmers, nothing to worry, so enjoying to see fish we haven't seen bfore swimming along with us. We were not able to see shark at that time, maybe some other time. Definately we will come again.

Great snorkeling point. Been there many times and keep on seeing new kind of underwater life.
On low tide you might be extremely close to the corals, so be careful not to damage them.

You can reach it with a snorkeling tour or you can rent a kayak and go there (you can also reach shark point from there, is 15min by kayak).
Recomendable to everybody.

A beautiful coral clad beach with thousands of colorful fishes. Sometimes there are big ones like the one I saw here, a 2 foot golden pomfret (bawal emas). Mhm.. yummy.

Superbe lieu de snorkeling, situé au sud d'une plage que nous appelions Soqoha beach. Magnifiques coraux avec bien sur, beaucoup de poissons. On peut y accéder par cette superbe plage de "Soqoha", après Teluk Keke.
