POPULAR bookstore @ Gurney Plaza

Nice book shop in Gurney Plaza. They seem to have periodic sales, but you get some really good deals if you sign up as a member. The shop also has a pretty decent collection of stationery.
They can do better by getting more of the latest publications in quicker and with their information counter. But for now my family and I are pretty happy since our move from Europe.

It's not limited to just books and stationery; their IT and gadgets section is also up-to-date and impressive. You can even test a few gadget samples before deciding to make a purchase.

Best place for good books and the most popular place for books and stationery items 👍👍👍. I went just now to get some stationery on the list and as an extra, I also used E-wallet to pay on the counter.

One of the biggest bookstore in the state of Pulau Pinang. Huge variety of statoneries can be found here. The staffs are very friendly and always ready to answer customers enquiries. A lot of English and Chinese magazines are sold here.

A big bookstore to go for. Sectionalised according to different types of reading materials . It’s a bit sort of hidden as you may missed it while going up the escalator. Do ask any shops staffs and they will be happy to point you to the correct direction. 😁

Very helpful staffs. Specially a malay boy..well he sure is obliging. He would walk many yards to search n hand me the canvas i wanted. Keep it up. This boy needs thumbs up credit. You can get those books with reasonable price. Yes, some of the books are quite pricey, but wait for their member sales, it will be cheap.

Very big Popular Bookstore, the biggest I have ever seen in Malaysia.

Comfortable, air conditioned mall with a good variety of shops. However, traffic could be a little congested after 9pm.
