Sigi's Bar and Grill on the Beach at Golden Sands Resort - Penang

The food was good but it’s not as delicious as before. The selections is just normal. The Head Chef should focus on quality and standard. Will go again but will see if there going to be changes.

I’m very happy to give five stars for the food served here. We had the fillet steak, which was very good quality and perfectly cooked (medium rare). We also had the black ink seafood spaghetti - which was similarly excellent! The service was also excellent and friendly. One minor comment is that they might consider how they serve their drinks; red wine in a tiny glass, and g&t in a small plain tumbler didn’t really justice to the class and quality of the food.

Love the food! Excellent services by Mr * forgot the name. We came late but he managed to get us very good food for dinner. We tried godfather pizza and carbonara creamy. The portion is big and can share by up to 4 kids for 2 dishes.
Location wise for relaxing at night.Excellent.

Rated all 5 as the environment is wonderful, beautiful sunset at 7.30pm with great food and great service. I liked how their staff (ni ni) approached other vaping guest and reminding them that it's not allowed so that everyone get to enjoy a fresh air. Kudos to good service

How wonderful it was to dine at Sigi's Bar & Grill. Large serving, great flavour. It was among the greatest lamb racks I've ever had. Of course, we shouldn't forget how fantastic Nini's service was! You can never go wrong eating here, therefore I will definitely return.

If you're a lamb rack kind of person, my personal recommendation is Lamb Rack.

We had a lovely dinner here. Menu had lots of variety and lots of vegetarian options. Our food was very tasty. Staff were courteous and attentive. Only thing which could be improved upon was the atmosphere. There was no music and the lighting could have been more intimate. Overall we would go back.

This is our 1st visit to the bar and straight away we fall in love with it food and their service. We come again next day to enjoy their food. Their hospitality is marvellous. The price was not to expensive and their portion is big.

Great buffet with bbq grilled lobsters, prawns , satays, fish etc. live cooking spaghetti available as well with great flavor with cheese. Salad bar and dessert available as well. Good deal. Free live singer at 8pm near the beach with romantic songs.

Great place excelling in top Shangri-la hospitality. Pizza is crispy, cheesy and filled generously. Although there is no seafood pizza on the new menu, Lady Valltelina (Beef & Arugula RM42) and Godfather (Beef pepperoni & Chicken Sausage RM44) will not disappoint. Server Ms.Ni Ni is commendable for her outstanding hospitality, bending over backwards to cater for our boy's needs .... persuading Chef Lee to make a customised pizza for him, instead of buffet menu and keeping my bottle of Guinness ice cold in an ice bucket, as well as signing me up for Golden Circle (#201-005-079-390) to enjoy meal discounts and reward points. A happier experience overall compared to the reckless Hard Rock pizzeria or antagonistic Ship restaurant. When it comes to excellent hospitality, nowhere can beat my former client Robert Kuok's Shangri-la!
Today's visit on New Year's Day came with a complimentary foccacia and ciabatta as starters while waiting for the Godfather and kid's menu spaghetti (RM19). This evening's excellent server was Ms.Ai Ai who packed our pizza leftovers cheerfully. Still open during MCO for takeaways. Sadly most staff took VSS.

So far Shangri La never fails me. The service is definitely on point. Especially the floor manager, Chiam Ni Ni. Her service is superb! She is not stingy in sharing the promotion info that is currently going on 👍🏻

Really great food and the staff are very attentive, especially for our two year old toddler. Views of the beach are great and definitely a great choice for a family looking for some good food!

Went here for lunch with kids after the awesome next door adventure zone. The pizza was fantastic. Perfect location overlooking the beach. They also served a huge bowl of delicious kid friendly fruit which was welcomed after the usual holiday kids diet.

Excellent restaurant... the food was delicious and reasonable price... the waitress served very well and given me and my wife very comfortable while spending our dinner there... parking easily search inside the resort parking lot and for sure we will come back again!

We ordered several pastas and a four cheese pizza. The food is really quite fantastic.

Great food on the beach!

Had a buffet dinner during a company event and this was by far the best meal I had while staying at the resort over 9 days. Grilled seafood was the bomb. Dessert bar was overflowing with treats, and the variety was staggering. Just wish I had a bigger stomach.

The staff were amazing to host us for some coffee and snacks in the evening while there was a birthday event happening inside.

They have a nice 2 level viewing gallery that gives good views.

I went to this restaurant after reading reviews. And they were right! The food is delicious. The spaghetti they served is something you don't get to taste anywhere else. I hope they keep up the good work.🤗
