The prawn noodle ( or Hokkien mee by Penangites) is very good, much better than the popular one at One Corner Cafe nearby where you have to wait at least 30 minister.

Had mee goreng during lunch time, and recently tried the chu char at night. The dishes are somehow with pretty traditional flavour. Nice!

The kueh teow ting is good and deserves its reputation. Prawn mee was equally good. CKT is average. Service is fast.

During the day it’s a hawker center with different stalls some doing Wantan Mee, Hokkien Mee or Char Koay Teow. Also coffee and Kaya Toast for breakfast is available. In the evening however only one kitchen is open and that’s more like restaurant style food - very delicious!! We had spare ribs in dark sweet sauce, squid (Sotong) - not rubbery at all(!), Tofu in a beautiful sauce with mushrooms and minced pork and potato leaves with salted egg.
We enjoyed it all and will be back for sure!

Food is delicious. Lady captain was very friendly. She introduced dishes to us. She was also very patient to explain how the dishes were cooked. I liked their claypot stew fish with yam.

This is the type of food that is worth the wait. This called Mee Manja CRC. Older generations called Mee Agong as the previous Sultan came to patronized this stall before in the old location.

The noodles itself is not as spicy as the Mee Soto Hameed Pata at Esplanade, suitable for those who wanted to eat Mee Goreng but can't stand the spiciness, like me. But for those brave enough and love spiciness in their food, there is green chili to go with it.

Rest assured, you won't be served a mee with reddish in color due to the chillies and spices.

Besides Mee Manja CRC, they also have other stalls here. You can have economy rice, the famous Ah Soon Kor Prawn Mee, western food and satay in this coffee shop itself.

Not to forget, do check out the Mutiara Karipap. Made to order, fresh curry puffs! You can even choose the fillings to your liking. However, this curry puff only operate on weekdays (Monday - Friday) only. Do make sure to check it out if you are here!

I went here with the family for breakfast at 8.30am on a Monday. Got the CKT, prawn mee, loh mee and eggs with kaya/planta toast. The CKT was really good and worth the money. A large CKT was RM7. Drinks were reasonably priced too. Service was quick. Parking was easy to find. Would definitely come back here.

One of the restaurant where I would like to go back for a delicious Chinese dish dinner. Fresh fish with curry soup always my favorite. Order the bitter gourd with stir fried eggs and you won't go wrong. Marmite marinated chicken cutlet is my son's favorite.

The Indian mee goreng stall has long lineage. They operated from the Northam Road four generations ago.

Hidden gem? Friends and I had the toast and eggs (done to perfection, RM4.50 per set of two slices of wholemeal bread and two soft-boiled eggs), Hainanese 'Egg Chop' (very interesting, somewhat expensive but was a tasty novelty) and the Kuey Teow Tng with Dumplings ('Water Dog' in Cantonese). The tea and coffee were good too. Economical and tasty.

We noticed the Hokkien Mee and Nasi Lemak which looked really good too. Sadly only have one stomach each and couldn't get them all.

Usually go there in the morning. They have one of the best koay teow soup stalls around. They have as well breakfast set of eggs with a selection of toast bread is a scrumptious all time Malaysian classic. If you have a taste for something spicier, you can go for the nasi lemak.
