Kid friendly resort with water activities on the property!

It’s a lovely place and the staff are kind. A bit on the busy side, because the prices are quite affordable. However, it’s still calm enough to have a pleasant stay.

My favorite activity was the jet ski, which costs RM240 for 30 minutes and it’s right by the beach area of the resort. You can pay with your card or cash.

Couples? Keep in mind that this isn’t a very romantic environment, just being honest. Because it is family friendly, there are tons of kids running and screaming around, enjoying the water park next to the pool.

Don’t visualize yourself taking a nap on the hammock, because that won’t happen lol.

Besides that, everything else was great. Food is good for the price and again, the staff are very kind.

It was my birthday so they sent a complimentary cake to my room. 🙏

Last but not least, their continental breakfast is A++ 👍 seriously, a great selection of foods from East & West.

We had an amazing 7 nights ocean facing room, everything was perfect the breakfast was delicious with lots to choose from. The staff were friendly, greeting us with a beautiful smile every day.
Unfortunately guest thought it was okay to place their belonging on the lounges and not occupying them until later in the day. Simple sign no reserving of lounges allowed would solve this problem. As seen at other resorts.

Services, cleanliness, helpful staffs... I give 5 stars. Location is good, I can go to the shops, hawker stalls within 5 mins walking distance. But if you want to go to Georgetown, it is about 1 hour. Anyway, this is depending what you want. Whether want to stay in the city or seaside. Room is exactly like shown in the website. Beach is beautiful, hotel facilities are good. I like this hotel very much. My kid was sick during my trip, and he was accidentally diarrhea on the bed at midnight..oh gosh.... the staffs help us changing to a new room. It was considered an upgrade as the room does have seaview. Really appreciate n touching for their kindness,many thanks to all the kindness staffs in Park Royal Hotel❤ That's why I must write here, this is not a payment review. I feel so thankful. 💕

Rooms were clean and tidy. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The continental buffet breakfast had something for everyone. Facilities were great. My kids particularly loved the water slides and so did I! The gym was pretty good. It has a steam room and jacuzzi too, which was lovely. There were activities and entertainment going on every day including a snake show, a balloon twisting man, free ice cream, etc. I just wish the resort included the use of some non-motorised water sports such as sailing, kayaking, surfing, stand up paddle boarding as it used to do in the past.

This is our second time staying here, and we absolutely love it. The resort feels clean and well maintained, and most importantly the staff are always friendly and accommodating.
The gentleman who serviced our room, Pradeep, was amazing. My daughter looked forward to seeing the new towel sculptures he made for us everyday. Our room was always well maintained and clean, and he always greeted us with a smile.
On the days we chose to stay at the resort we were kept busy on the slides, playing volleyball in the pool, playing table tennis, or trying out the water sports available on the beach (for an additional charge).
Overall we can't fault this place, and will definitely stay here if we return to Penang

Perfect place for a quick getaway with kids. This place really tries to be as kid friendly as possible and during Christmas, they do have plenty of programs. We stayed in the deluxe king room and it was spacious and tidy. My only pet peeve is that the bathroom doesn't have any locks. The resort has plenty of activities and a busy beach side.

All in all, well worth the money spent.

The staff was friendly & always willing to help. This hotel is good value for money. Buffet breakfast was awesome. Kids friendly too - so many activities for kids.

We didn't stay here but came for their Christmas Day buffet (one of the few hotels that still had availability). It was superb. The catering team outdid themselves with a varied and beautifully presented spread. There were so many lovely extra touches, like the table decorations, music, and the staff were brilliant. One can feel very far away from home at Christmas- and we did not expect a typical Christmas lunch, but we got it, and it felt very comforting. Well done, Park Royal. Thanks for a great day. We hope to return as hotel guests.

Stayed from Dec 28 to Jan 1 and have absolutely zero complaints on our experience. Very much enjoyed the quality of our room and facilities. The breakfast is excellent and the location (if you plan to be beside the beach) couldn't be any closer! A 'grab' taxi to Georgetown is around 35-50 minutes depending on traffic (excluding New Years Eve) and we did this every day of our trip. It costs around 20 MYR one way. For us, the distance was a small compromise in order to stay somewhere very relaxing and laid back.

Fabulous hotel in a perfect location on the white sandy beach in the middle of Batu Ferringhi. Rooms are big and beautifully appointed, breakfast buffet has everything you could want and more, the pools are fab, lounge and bars great, all staff are very professional and friendly! We loved our stay and will be back.

This place was amazing and we loved staying here. The included breakfast was so good and there was so much to do. The pools were great and this morning a family of monkeys stopped by as we were finishing breakfast…so cool to see. While lounging between the pool and the beach, I did find that the ants were a bit harsh and it does strong when you get bit by them, but aside from this everything was great.

We stayed here for 9 days. Rooms were nice, food was good and staff always friendly and polite. The facilities were well maintained and kids loved the pools and water slide. The only negative was the frequent (just about daily) missing/forgetting of one or more items from an order. It wasn't a big deal, but it did tend to detract from the overall relaxing experience.

We stay in their premier sea view twin suite. Their sofa bed is really big almost like a queen size bed and its solid so wont make weird noise when you sleep in it.
Found a lot of hairs on bed and cutlery towel. A bit yucky for me but since it is peak season when i visited there, i guess its fine.
Beach is clean, waterpark is fun, room service food is okay, overall is good.

Superb place to stay, nice water slides at the pool, breakfast items rotated so you won't be bored. Staff are the most important and all of them were very helpful, prompt and pleasant. Housekeeping crew polite and did a good job. Good stuff all around, will be back!

A spacious resort with a variety of activities, a swimming pool, spa, buffet, a variety of bars, and a meeting room. Awesome rooms with flawless views. A shore with many water sports/activities. Super comfortable beds and a fancy reception.

It was my second time having a chance to be here on my birthday. We love this place very much because of the surrounding environment & strategic location. Comfortable room, large,clean & beautiful pool, good food provided & totally this is such a beautiful place with good people working here. I was surprised with the complimentary mini birthday cake served in my room while i was out, i can see how the nice front office lady was aware of my birthday date upon my check in. Thank you for the hospitality. Thank you very much!

Three years in a row, we have been visiting except during the COVID period, which was due to obvious reasons. 100% highly recommend. An amazing place to come with family, regardless of their ages.

A lot has changed since we last went to ParkRoyal in 2022, but it still feels awesome! Staff is very friendly and facilities is also very useful. This hotel is absolutely the best hotel I've ever been to. I met a guy from England and he said it was worth the visit coming here. Congratulations to ParkRoyal for making this the best vacation spot ever! Definitely worth the visit.

lovely place for an all inclusive holiday. the beach is clean, maintained well by the local council and is just behind the resort with a security officer monitoring to ensure outsiders do not get in the resort. highly recomended

Very nice place to relax and unwind for holiday. There is a pool, breakfast, and you can do many activities at the beach like horse riding. They also have a list of activities everyday that you can sign up for. There are also other facilities like the gym and the lounge where you can play board games. Staff was also very friendly and polite and there is a good view of the sea from the balcony. Would definitely come here again.
