The rooms, though simple, are equipped with all the basic necessities one could need. I appreciated the inclusion of a mini-fridge, a hairdryer, and toiletries, making my stay convenient and stress-free. Additionally, the availability of items like an iron and ironing board upon request.

The hotel's cafe, while exclusively open for breakfast, given the hotel's strategic location in the heart of old town Melaka, I found it convenient to explore nearby eateries for other meals, each just a few minutes' walk away.

The Sterling's location indeed stands out. Being situated in the old town allowed me to easily immerse myself in the local culture and history. Exploring the charming streets and accessing nearby attractions was a breeze, making my overall experience even more enjoyable.

The staff at The Sterling deserves special mention for their warm hospitality. From check-in to check-out, they were attentive, accommodating, and always ready to assist with any request. *And kudos for discovering the phone I've accidentally left behind after checking out*

Room with outdoor jacuzzi really nice, huge room… comfortable bed. Near jonker walk area, walking distance.. easy to access. Highly recommended

Booked the family room , room has 2 kings and plenty of pillows. There is also an open air gazebo with a medium sized jacuzzi that fits 3 people. Basic amenities are available in the room. The room is very spacious. Love the space. There are plenty of parkings (open air) within the hotel area. Which you would not know if you have not been inside the hotel compound. Location is very near to jonker street. All walking distance. Staffs are very friendly at the front desks and the door keeper. Nice hotel very recommended

The location of this property is great since it's a walking distance to all attractions. It has a gated car park for guests too. Polite front desk staffs, clean rooms and easy check in & check out process. All the 4 rooms we booked were all good & acceptable.

Absolutely the best hotel. The room was spacious to fit in 4 of us. The staffs were very helpful, so glad that we decided to stay in The Sterling. I will definitely will choose to stay here in the future 👍🏻

Stay here on my birthday ❤ I tell youuuuu... this is the best boutiqe hotel ! During breakfast their crew said there is no buffet just had ala carte menu, free refill hot tea,coffee, juice, bread & jam. I was like okay² .... agaiiinnnn I tell youuuuu.....kuetiaw goreng oh my god...super duper delicious. My husband ordered nasi lemak rendang ayam. surprisingly, the chicken rendang taste like nenek nenek yang masak. Of course lah husband i habiskan... 😍😍😍 boleh ke nak walk-in having a lunch or dinner here ??? Oh ya.. i bagi a big credit to their breakfast service crew . Pretty woman.. i checked in on 1st dec - 2nd dec. Thank you !!! ❤ i pun staff hotel in melaka before for a many years so a bit sensitive with the foodies. This hotel... i give 10000/10 for food. Bye

Loved this place, felt extremely cosy. Shoutout to the receptionist and doorman who were both amazingly friendly people. Overall a really good place for family stay

So nice of English style concept. Room Clean. I tot we have big breakfast for the breakfast. But the Mee goreng is nice.

- stayed in the family room(2 queen + 1 single), the room and toilet are spacious

- provides water dispenser to keep customers hydrated

Cant find anything bad about this hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Secured parking for motorcycle. Walking distance to Jonker and many eateries.

The hotel room and service is very good. Excellent location. Very easy access to all of the attractions.Breakfast is very poor not much options for food.

For the price I paid for a room with jacuzzi. I have no complaints. But I do agree with other reviewers stating the hotel need maintenance. Can see that it had aged thru the walls in the toilet , ceilings as well as the window being very dusty .

The good is the room is very spacious, comes with a couch too. The jacuzzi is huge . It's like a small pool if you are a kid 😂. Sadly I didn't took any photo to share

We booked superior room (kingbed n single bed) with bathtub, very spacious room, clean, complete with toiletries, the bed was very comfy. And the price is very reasonable too

Nostalgic Colonial Building , don’t forget to take your picture! The hotel staff is very kind and helpful.

Free parking space which is very convenient since the hotel is located near to attractions place, so just park your car at the hotel and walking distance to places like jonker walk, riverside.

We booked the Deluxe family room with Bathtub.

The location was excellent, nice colonial building. We liked the spacious room with king and queen bed, and a sofa. It is clean and comfortable for a family with 2 teenage boys. Was greeted by a friensly staff at breakfast, Mr Asri. Simple buffet refillable. Value for money.

Water dispenser at lobby. Had an enjoyable stay.

Good and relaxing place to stay with very big room & toilets.
- Nice comfortable, quiet and peaceful resort.
- Jonker walk only 5 minutes when you walk from hotel. (Better park you car at hotel and just walking from hotel)
- The water pressure & jacuzzi was great and there was enough hot water.

Forgot my wallet in the safe on Friday, and didn’t realize until got a call from the hotel while I was heading to the airport, Zara helped me to send it to Singapore via FedEx, eventually received it after 2 days, thank you for your accommodation and great service, strongly recommend!
