Batu Ferringhi Beach

A nice beach for dipping and have a sun bath. Clean and calm beach. The view also beautiful. Easy to access from main street. Please don’t forget to bring your water because you need to walk back to the entrance to buy some. Rented the sunbed for 30rmy and also they have water sport (didn’t try any).

The beach is relatively clean with shaded areas for relaxation, and the staff are warm and friendly. It's a fantastic natural retreat where you can feel the sea breeze on your face and hear the soothing sounds of waves crashing onto the shore. While visitors can wade in the water, I wouldn't recommend swimming due to the presence of jellyfish in the sea.😁

Went there on a morning (a day before the Hari Raya Aidilfitri) so less crowd and less noise. Beautiful beach although the sand is more on the coarse side. A few locals also offer jet ski ride and horse riding.

It's a quite long and sandy beach. The beach is clean while sea water is not crystal clear but it's clear of any debris. There's also some operators offering water sports facilities. The public washroom is in rather bad condition, could use some upgrade of the facilities in the washroom.

Beautiful beach with combined coarse and fine white sand along the beach. You can enjoy parasailing, jet skiing or banana boating there. Array of food stalls along the street that you can go for lunch or dinner

Nice beach. Not the cleanest in Asia definitely. But the boat ride is pretty good.Toilet is very dirty. And “ canteen” can be improved in terms of cleanliness and food choices. Good place to visit if you love the Sun, Sea and Beach 🏖

You can stay at city center and take bus to Batu Ferringgi Beach. You can stop at some where near by Park Royal area. Price is 2++ringgit only. Around here there will a night market beside street. Also have a lot of hotels near by and connect to beach, the beach is very long. You can walk through some of the hotel’s lobby to beach. There are many sea activities and you can swim and relax beside the beach and is free.

And high tide this is a great place. At 5:00 p.m. there are a lot of local families would children running around the beach

Clean and tidy. No hawkers. Sunset glorious. Beach lovely. Not quite powdery but close.

The sunset colors were very beautiful. I was happy to see the landscape.

Love the water sports and watching the sun set was awesome. Horse ride.

Nice to take a breather, there is alot of restaurant that is linked to the beach and even night market nearby!
You can stay for the sunset and go and walk around!

Definitely one of the places in things to do when you visit Malaysia.

Visited with friends and had an amazing time here. We carried a drone and got the best shots here. So if you are into photos and beaches, this one is a perfect fit for your taste.

You can carry volleyball since there is a set up on the beach. That was the most fun part for us on the beach. You can also get a ball for around 30RM at the beach itself.

It is clean and not very crowded. Lots of water sports options available.

The beach side restaurant is again an amazing place for food and drinks.

The drive to reach there is also lovely.

I would definitely recommend this place.

Lovely beach with white sand and very clean. The water is very calm, and there are lots of toilets and facilities nearby, so You can freshen up or have a bite to eat. There are many water sports operators on the beach, so you will have to go through the process of being asked if you want to have a ride from all of them.

Do come by after 5pm where the sun isn’t too hot. Pleasantly clean and peaceful beach. There are little clams naturally scattered between the tides.

We like the soft sand and options to do water sports, along with the horse riding in the area too. Overall it’s one of the better beaches to be at, truly a hidden gem 💎

When you go through the sea, take care of jellyfish. I tried Thai Food that was provided by a local Malaysian restaurant. It's delicious and reasonable price.

Every-time when I drop by to Penang . Must come to batu ferringgi beach for a sunset walk , view are beautiful , do drop by on weekday to avoid crowd . There are nearly Chinese , the ship western restaurant or Starbucks cafe for you to dine in and enjoy the view . Is a comfortable place for short vacation . Love it so much

Good sunset! Slightly higher priced shopping, okay foods, water sports day, surf is sometimes rough, water often cloudy, not over packed in off season. Can find many small shells and wild life, insane birds, and interesting locals.

Nice view. Went there with friends for photoshoot near Starbucks BF. A lot of attractions there now like food stalls and convenience stores
