Straits Quay Retail Marina

I think this mall deserves a 5-star rating, taking into consideration the location and cleanliness. The mall's interior is well planned. It looks clean and new. I am not sure when it was built. When it comes to visitors, this mall is similar to many others on the island. I thought it was unusually quiet for the time of year, early January, when you would expect people to be out and about hunting for offers after Christmas. There are various upscale retailers, like Selangor Pewter, yacht sales showrooms, and fashion outlets. The outlets are a tad costly, but the pricing reflects the location and the type of people who would shop there.

Too beautiful when the sun rises and sets! U can come for a walk and have a breakfast here at winter warmer. There are all kinds of restaurant here and u can ride your bike or scooter here, u can rent a scooter and bike here too. A nice place for a peace and nice walk. Recommended ( P. S. Oops and I just found that I had repeated alr 😅😅)

Very very nice. The place contains many cafes. You can also spend a whole day in it, also there’s mall or can walk a little and reach the garden and sit in front of the sea and watch the sunset very beautiful.. The yacht place is very similar to the Marina in Dubai

This mall is definitely not your average spot. The toilet cleanliness is top-notch, and you can't beat the view from the yacht deck.

Straits Quay Marina Mall is the best location in Penang for food with beer and place for a walk or jog by the beach. It is also a harbor/pier spot for yachts. A romantic place to view the sunset during evening time. You can also view the sky with stars during night time. There are some unique restaurant here with irish bar and so on. There also have grocery stall and korean grocery store.

Wonderful area for those who wants a short sea view get away with many international and local cuisines and shops with unique and interesting items not found anywhere else. Must visit when your in the area and i suggest to go with your loved ones and as a trip for photographers as the area is so photogenic

Good place to have a stroll before or after dinner. Plenty of restaurant options, western, Chinese, Korean. Good view with chilly breeze!

Favourite place to go on weekdays! Cause it will be pack on weekends 🤣, the place is really nice but less retail shops, mostly restaurants

Really great spot to walk around and browse shops, and grab a western drink or bite.

Overall a must place to visit if ur in penang....

Very relax place where couples always come here hang out. A lot of bars here which have live bands. But nothing much to do if you don't plan to drink and eat.

For the view I give 5 stars!
Nice place to hang out and enjoy sunset.
Nice spot for photo shoot.
You can do cycling, strolling, jogging or even skate boarding.

During MCO only few restaurants are open, the outer part of the mall.

Before MCO this place used to be such a busy venue of many events
My fav event is fireworks display during New Year's eve countdown
(would be nice to rent a yatch but if you can't afford, hire a tour boat near the fishermen boat area)

Sam's Groceries has almost everything you want. To cater the customers which mostly are foreign nationals that are residing at this place and neighbouring.

Parking can be easy during less busy day. You can park on the road side but at your own risk. You can get fined if you don't mind.

I'm suggesting the management to make this place as an outlet mall like the one in Batu Kawan...would be interesting!

I went here in afternoon. The cloud was very beautiful but the weather was so hot. This place is like mini mall with a beautiful scenery inside. There is a restaurant called Bahtera Impian that sell Malaysian food. I try vegetables, fried tofu, sour sweet chicken, curry, fried egg, sunkist orange, ans orange syrup. The food was quite good. Better if we go to this place in 4 pm.

The pathway leads all the way to City of Dreams, passing by some of the most expensive and beautifully designed mansions by E&O.

Overall, I highly recommend Straits Quay Retail Marina as a great place for a walk or run. The picturesque views, lively atmosphere, and kind terrain make it an enjoyable and memorable experience for everyone."

For me the place is good,but somehow the restaurant too many and other outlet still unfer construction🥲

Lots of things to do and see here, sidewalk eateries/coffee shops etc by a sea walk. Very pretty with sailing boats in moor. Go and smell the sea breeze and take a nice stroll. Do some shopping or rent bicycle. Places to ride with riding paths near.

Perfect for a stroll, coffee or beer by the sea. There is some retail here, but don't expect a full range of shops. A great place to watch fireworks on New Year's Eve
