Miami Beach - Pantai Miami

A really nice quiet beach steps away from the Doubletree across the road, not a very busy road plus they have a pedestrian bridge. Looks like it used to be more lively once upon a time but rather abandoned now, just some wild monkeys up in the trees, good for them!

Miami Beach is a stretch of coastline in Batu Ferringgi, Penang. It lies between Shamrock Beach to the east and Moonlight Bay to the west. Named after Miami Beach in Florida, the area was a favourite picnic and camping spot in the 1960s and early 70s, but over the years has been transformed by property development.

It's still a pretty nice area for camping, picnicking and swimming.

Weekdays will be peaceful and Weekends Crowded

I was here on weekdays, walked to this place since I stayed at Doubletree Hotel near by.
Surprisingly, it was so quite, and I can really enjoy the wave sound and catch the sunset :’) so happy

This beach is different from the ones I usually go to. The sand is thicker than ordinary beaches. And it's very suitable for taking pictures, it's worth experiencing

the environment is clean, only the stairs leading to the beach are broken.... need to find another way to the beach... there are stalls selling food and souvenirs

Nice beach access near Batu Ferringhi. A nice place to swim with small waves. It gets busy on the weekends. Rapid penang bis stops here for route 101 and 102.

The best Batu Ferringhi beach for local peoples is here at Miami Beach area. This is long story too about was the day of tshunami tragedy for this beach. Now a day the beach more popular and also have international hotel nearby here. Some local stall have too for goreng pisang and laksa. We can swim here and OK green area. Loved it.

Best beach in Penang. The beach was so clean, with stunning giant stones. Suitable for sunset hunting I guess. Less touristy than Batu Feringghi beach.

I get lost when I want to go to the Batu Feringgi Beach, end up at Miami Beach which is like a private island. Quite a place. Not many people although the weekend and have a bus stop with the same name. Take bus 101 or 102.

This is a great beach. Had the beach to ourselves except from a few litter picking groups to keep the beach clean.

Nice place to have a little walk during the sunset. Miami cafe is nearby the beach, can have a cup of tea with friends or family while enjoying the scenery.

Beautiful place! Definitely will come again to enjoy the breeze and divine view!

Went here to bring the kids for a swimming at the beach. There are also local stalls selling finger foods along the road.

Just some part of the beach were polluted with rubbish left by irresponsible trash-minded people.

A small beach but nice. Beautiful sight when the waves hit the rocks.

Miami Beach Penang. Was hoping for a nice sunset sadly twas a cloudy day.

It's a lovely rocky beach to hang out at. We went there on a week day and during Ramadhan there were no stalls opened and best part was no crowd. Lotsa shade good place for a picnic. Please clean up after you go. There were still bits of rubbish thrown here and there which was sad.
