Landing Beach

Quiet and secluded beach, reachable by hiking down from windmill scenic spot or via taxi boat! Went twice during my stay, and was always the only one there

It's an amazing beach and not very well known, so we spent the whole day just by ourselves.
In order to get there you have to follow the jungle trail that starts in Long Beach, just after Awatif café and follow the path until the wind mill. Once you get there, the path starts going down until you reach a point where the path is splited in two: if you follow the path on the right you will get to D'Lagoon Beach and if you follow the left path you will arrive to landing beach. The whole trail will take an hour approximately. It is not difficult, but I would recommend wearing sport shoes and something to cover your head to protect it from the sun.
If you are planning to spend the day there, bring food and water with you, because there is nothing there where you can buy it.
The day we were there, it was a bit dirty... it is something that could be improved.

Very nice and quiet beach, worth the effort to hike across if you’re staying at the Long Beach. Bring enough water to drink because there’s no shops/facilities around.

From this deserted beach, actually called Cenderawasih, a dirt road was built to bring the materials needed to build the wind farm and solar farm at the top of the hill, 100m above sea level. That road is now pretty broken, but perfectly walkable. Turtles lay their eggs in this beach sometimes.

Il faut prévoir des chaussures de plage car il y a beaucoup de pierres. Il y a bcp mieux pour se baigner comme turtle beach qui est magique ! Aussi pas mal de déchets malheureusement, après 16h, le passage des taxis boat fut très rare, on a dû attendre des heures puis faire un retour à pieds. Le passage dans la jungle est vraiment sympa !
