Petani Beach

Great snorkling spot at a nice sand beach. Not many tourists. Saw squirrel and a snake in the tree, similar to the ones of the snake temple on Penang.
Facing beach, on the left, there are patches of corals. Swim after the first little beach, you can see a yellow boxfish, stingray, hard corals, small amount anemone, clownsfish, parrotfishes and many more colorfull fishes. A titan triggerfish became agressive when i watched him too long.
On the right, around the jetty, i saw 4 little sharks among many anchivies.
Further to the right, much higher density of colorfull hard, some soft coral and fishes like a map puffer.
Corals are far way better than shark point. But shark point have more and bigger fishes. Teluk pauh has nicer sand beach, but less corals, but still okay.

Bel endroit mais je déconseille hors saison, tous est à l'abandon et odeur de pétrole.. Quand on se baigne notre corps sent aussi le petrol aprés.. Dommage..
