Amazing place! I simply loved it. The best choice in the Perhentian islands. The place is a big wooden house among the trees. The menu offers many different asian food recipes. Everything is perfect, even the dessert! Don’t miss it if you stay at Pulau Kecil.

The best restaurant on the island hands down. Erica and Atord are the most wonderful hosts here. Expect quality, contemporary, hearty meals. Then expect a perfect atmosphere to go along with it. Beanbags and low tables out on the patio for an alfresco experience, all while looking over the sea into the sunset. You tell me if its not everything you came looking for in this part of Malaysia, I will wait.

Great food and atmosphere. Would very much recommend eating here. We went a few times for breakfast and dinner and enjoyed the food very much. Very reasonably priced too, for what is much better standards in terms of finishes / feel.

We stayed at Crocodile Rock Villas a few weeks ago (great experience!) and had several dinners at the Bistro. The food is a couple of notches above pretty much any restaurant on Perhentian Kecil, yes a little more expensive but sooo worth it. Creative fusion dishes and home cooking experiences. Try the grilled fish the burger or the home made ice cream...to die for!

Very tasty and quality food. Perhaps the best place on the island. If you are searching western standards with asian touch restaurant it's your place. Prices are also ok.

Wonderful place to get away and unwind. Beautiful scenery and food and restaurant absolutely amazing.

Although Crocodile Rock has been the most expensive restaurant I’ve eaten at so far in my time in Malaysia, it is worth every penny. From the mouth-wateringly delicious food, to the lovely atmosphere at both the restaurant and the bar and the friendly, accommodating staff who go above and beyond I couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough for anyone who comes to visit the island.

Best restaurant on this side of the island. One of the best in Perhentian islands.
I recommand the Otak-otak entrée, fish pâté cooked in a banana leaf, ultimate pleasure and discovery for our French palets.
Nice Bali/Tulum-ish vibe, better to come elegant and it is worth every penny.
Any drinks envy? A nice bar with nicest bartenders is waiting for you.

This is such an amazing place! We had an awesome breackfast (with great espresso!) with the most incredible view! The owners are such loving and caring people. I will definately go back when I go to the island again! Thank you for this incredible memory!

Nice food and atmosphere. Has multiple vegetarian and vegan options marked on the menu. A very welcome break from the identical menus at most other restaurants on the island.

100% the best food on the island and probably the best food I’ve had in Asia in the past 2 months! Would highly recommend the mozzarella chicken burger, chicken masak merah, french toast, and fruit plate. All the staff ( a lot of which are volunteers) are so so sweet and they do the restaurant proud! All ingredients are so fresh and everything is cooked so well I’m going to miss it so much! Pricing was fair considering the quality of the meal you get!

We had heard positive reviews from a friend and it did not disappoint! The gnocchi was particularly delicious, but the chicken burger was also quite tasty. And we were very pleasantly surprised to learn they had beer which wasn't on the menu! Staff/owners very friendly and the sunset was amazing. Will definitely try to return from long beach!

Great place! Great vibe! And like the best vegetarian/vegan food on the whole island! It’s very good for watching the sunset in the evening! The staff was very welcoming and we had a great time there - definitely check it out when you are on the island!

Well prepared food from a creative menu. The food is mostly vegetarian, but the burger was a great treat one night (with yummy sweet potato fries). A peaceful place to sit and have a drink or an Italian coffee while enjoying the view out to the mainland. BUT CURRENTLY DUE TO SHORT STAFFING THE DINING ROOM IS ONLY OPEN TO RESIDENTS.

After we found this place, we didn't eat anywhere else! The setting is amazing, very relaxed atmosphere looking out over the sea. The food was awesome, as good as food you'd get in a decent restaurant in a big town, very rare for a small island! I'd recommend eating here over any place on the island. Even if you're staying in Long Beach, take a trip up here for some good food. The BBQ Squid was one of the best squid I've ever eaten! Highly recommended.

Undoubtly one of the best restaurants in Perhentian. Their menu range from local fares to western cuisines, not many choices are listed but the taste and quality certainly did not disappoint. My BBQ chicken was well marinated and although the portion is huge I am left with wanting more because of just how delicious the meal was.

The ambience of the restaurant is amazing. Set against the backdrop of a lush forest and sounds of lapping waves, one is truly immersed in the whole experience of dining with nature. Very romantic in the evenings with lights and music on.

Lastly the service rendered is top notch, owner is friendly and warm, checks on every diner and engages in small conversations with just about everyone. It is evident that much thoughts and efforts have been put in by the family to give visitors an experience rather than just run a business for tourists.

We went to dinner at this place, and We were extremely surprised by the quality the flavors and presentations of the dishes, everything tasted fresh (which is not the case in some other places as the food might be frozen or ready made) we had the sticky rice and the beef rending, both with a side of salad and topped it off with a lemon cheesecake which was amazing. If you are looking for a good Asian fusion meal you should definitely go there. The owner is so kind and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

Really great experience, so much so that we wished we had chosen to stay here instead of Long Beach. Service was attentive enough without being overbearing, food was wonderful (we had the sweet potato gnocchi, chicken burger, bruschetta and lemon cheesecake which were all great and tasted homemade as well) and music selection was spot on. Overall, we had a very enjoyable time there and were sad to leave.
