besides the serene calm and clear waters; the friendly folks, Perhentian Islands offer another attraction-- Masjid Ar Rahman. It's pretty well-kept and alive especially on Friday noon prayers.

Majestic view of the sea from the corridors and watch the sunrise at the back of Perhentian Island Besar. There's also a cafe beside the masjid so you could enjoy breakfast while watching people at the jetty going in and out of the village.

Local people called it as Masjid Putih. This Masjid have their own jetty. You may access to this Masjid via boat. You can hear sound of ocean from inside this Masjid. This Masjid used to perform solah (pray) five times a day. This Masjid equip with wash room, shower room, open hall, restaurant and pray hall for Muslim.

It s a beautiful Masjid in Pulau Perhentian Kecil, I am here for Jummu ah, (namaz for some of you overthere). The space for Solah is quite small (equivalent to the locals) but the Masjid is in the process of upgrading as building materials are scattered at the masjid's gardens.
