Such a lovely family who own, so accommodating and helpful with travel information. Great location to get taxi boats to both islands. Bear great local restaurants and snorkelling tours.

It was a pleasant stay at AB guesthouse. The owner was helpful and gave us lots of information about the island. The staff at the jetty even helped us to find a parking spot and led us to the jetty since we were late to ride the boat. Decent size of room with fan, AC and comfortable bed. Check in and check out processes were easy. The location is easy to reach only 5 minutes walk from the jetty. There is a mosque and restaurants nearby. Good spot for photos as soon as you walk out of the guesthouse. Not only suitable for backpackers but recommended for families as well. We even received souvenirs from the host. Overall, it was a good short stay at AB guesthouse.

Was there with family for 3 nights. At first sight it looks dull due to lack of beach in front of it. But as a Muslim guest,the first time ever I was in vacation exactly behind a mosque. That's the greatest advantage for me. The sound of the waves when you prostate. The mosque was also beautiful. The guesthouse was so clean and neat. Can't complain about that even though it was not modern concept. It feels like in our own house. Especially foreigner could feel about it in Malaysia rather than the normal resort type of accomodations. The service was excellent. Will definitely be there again. Not anywhere else.

The accomodations of AB guesthouse is clean and comfortable to stay here. The facilities that provided are wifi, air-conditioning, fan, and etc. The restaurant also nearby the AB guesthouse. To find the AB guesthouse is easy because it behind the mosque

The AB guesthouse is one of the best accommodations in Fisherman's Village and great value for money. The owner is very helpful and the rooms, although basic are clean and have what is required.

Definitely the most convenient place to stay. The room is clean n comfy. The facilities r complete except for no water heater in the shower. What we love the most about this place is their free flow of drinking water, hot n cold and the location is perfect, lots of restaurants and mart nearby, and it's not too far from the jetty. Truly good value for money!

Very good option right in the village. Room was basic but clean. It had everything we need, only thing I would add is a mosquito net in the window so you can open it. Village is a good location, where food is good and cheap and is easy to reach other beaches by boat or even trekking. Great snorkelling just 5 minutes walking from the guesthouse, in front of Nemo chalet. I really appreciate water refill station and in the common area there is also a kettle and some travel books and magazines about Malaysia.

Simple but friendly guesthouse. Everyone was helpful when needed. The room comes with the essential, no sink. Cold water but it is ok after a day outside. The atmosphere in the village is really nice !

I went to Perhentian with my friends for one night stay and it was worth it! For anyone who plans to come here but have small budget, AB guesthouse is definitely the right choice. Though they offer the cheapest price, their facilities are complete, well maintained and clean. The owner and his staff provide the best service. We really enjoy our stay and will recommend this to our friends and family

The hostel had everything we needed for, it was really clean, beds were comfy and big, the wifi was good and there is a water dispenser. There's a mosquee just in front. People living in the fishing village are welcoming.

Cheap accomodation with unbeatable location. Airco, wifi, fan, all work superb. Even a filtered water tap available. Downsides are the proximity to the mosque, which makes sure to wake you up every night at around 5, and the abundance of mosquitos. Leaving the fan on at night and generously applying deet before going to bed worked to combat these pesky parasites. The bathroom is basic, but workable. All in all great value for money, which is why you should book this accomodation. Looking for luxury, book a resort instead

Awesome! Staffs were friendly & hospitality was good. The owner Ayah Hassan , brought me to watch sunset in his own boat!.. The room was clean and next to the island mosque. I fell in love with the location!! Food was easy, around the island. Sure will come again, insyaAllah.

Excellent service and comfortable stay! Nice & clean. Good communication, support and very kind host. All the provisions you need with cold and hot water, fan and AC and optional extras. Nice location with the possibility to walk to Long Beach…

Best place to be in Fisherman village. Nice, big and clean rooms, well isolated, comfortable bed. Only bad thing though is to be next-door to the mosque, the pray through the speakers is so loud

Location is also something all backpackers will enjoy as there are many affordable eateries, convenience stores and jetties within walking distance.

Highly recommended and will be sure to visit again soon whilst booking the same accomodation :)

Very nice place to stay at Perhentian Island. Walking distance to the beautiful Al Rahman mosque. Very near to foods stall and to the Island main jetty. The owner is very helpful to you needs during our stay here.
Excellent for families, backpackers or alone.

Electricity and water is 24 hrs here. Air-conditioning functions well, bathroom and toilets are very clean. Bedrooms are nice . This place is gated and fenced.

Super guest house for backpackers and for all ppl! Near Jetty Pier and the village, local rest, and taxi boats, and paths to reach other beaches.
Only not hot water in shower but it is okey for the island weather.

A wonderful place to stay. It's actually situated at the small island which is where local people stayed. In this case, you can feel the 'kampung' environment by the sea. I can assure the hospitality is great. Room is very spacious, clean and comfortable. Great place to stay for a traveler like me and also for the family.

I liked to stay at Perhentian AB Guest house in the beginning of October 2022. It's a comfortable and clean guest house near mosque among local community. In walking distance you can eat delicious and inexpensive food in small cafes. The staff of the guest house were very hospitable and always assisted when needed. My room has a conditioner and a fan. There is also a separate toilet with shower. I will miss these Perhentian islands.
