we stayed for two night at the hotel, I can give 5 start for the service and support they provided، specially with the luggage carrying to the jetty via lodder, awesome stuff and helpful

Aman Dan Laut offers good service. Help us to carry bag all the way to room.
Room is clean, so surprised that the room got no sand at all.
The chef named Ali is so gooood!! He can cook so well. He is so loving. He kept food for us even though we did not order it. He has been working there for 13years already.
We are so lucky to have joined the free event and music band.

Ik begrijp de negatieve reacties echt niet! De locatie is top, ja, je moet wat klimmen, maar dat is niet erg. Zelfs niet net zoals ons met een kind van 2 jaar oud. De kamer is klein,maar wisten we van tevoren. Babybedje paste naast het bed en het is even passen en meten. Balkonnetje erbij en paste net een tafeltje tussen die we hadden gevraagd zodat we spelletjes konden doen. Het licht was kapot buiten kwamen ze metewn maken.Het was hartstikke schoon en elke dag kwamen ze de kamer doen en nieuw water en handoeken aanvullen. Ik zou het iedereen aanraden! Laat je niet misleiden door die negatieve beoordelingen en geniet!

Lindo hotel , habitación cómoda y cama más que cómoda.

Excelente servicio de la gente de ahí que te llevan las valijas desde el puerto hasta la puerta de tu habitación

Las habitaciones están limpias y la cama es bastante cómoda. La ubicación del hotel es excelente. Los trabajadores son encantadores. Nos recogieron y nos dejaron en el muelle. Hay tiendas y restaurantes alrededor. El hotel tiene happy hour de cocktails y cervezas. Pagamos unos 130€ la noche en Booking. Es uno de los mejores hoteles comparando calidad precio.

Alhamdulillah dapat bilik view yang sangat awesome, bilik bersih, bilik air function baik, ada aircond ok.. cuma tiada TV, heater ada .. Love the view from room.. cuma kena menapak / hiking ...

The room was bit small, basic but clean. After the full day activity you can just go back, relax and enjoy the beautiful view from the balcony. Was a lot pricy probably coz of peak season. we went in July.
Just one star for the location since when you advertise a beach front room, no one expects to have a 1 km hike to get to the room.
The staff was super nice and friendly.
Improvement needed - the common areas specially the common bath/toilet areas were not useable. damn smelly and dirty.

Don’t understand the negative reviews here only thing i think it should lose a star for is the price it is quite expensive for what you get. But saying that the rooms
Are nice and are cleaned every day and giving fresh towels and water daily, the view from the room is great, the staff are friendly especially the bar man. It has one of the only bars on the island and you get transported to and from the jetty.

Enjoyed the stay here! A little expensive compare to the amenities but ok.

It got clean rooms, and the view from it is amazing, at the reception Aznie helped us a lot and really did a good job

L’quipe est très sympa ! Le site en bout de plage est idéalement situé en hauteur pour une belle vue sur la plage !
Par contre les chambres sont vraiment mal isolés et pas très confortable

Sensacion extraña. Lugar unico en el mundo por la ubicacion, por eso una estrella. La otra por la amabilidad y simpatia del personal. Habitacion pequeña, antigua, sin agua caliente, no hacen la cama a diario y es caro mas de 120€/dia...se escucha ruido de la fiesta hasta las 02.00-03.00am y eso que el hotel esta el ultimo se esa playa.
No dejes de ir a Perhentian, Aman es una opcion de hotel, pero miraria otras

Don’t waste your money - nothing is exaggerated below. Any 5/5 reviews must be fake, and the photos are very far from reality.

Access - one of the most difficult to get to on long beach. Approx 700+ metres from the jetty, all along sand. The final ‘path’ leading to the rooms is literally like an unmaintained goat track - uneven grass, clay and rocks. If you’re over 60 I seriously wouldn’t recommend.

Rooms - Extremely small, shower very close to the toilet with no dividing panel. Cold- warm showers, never get hot. There are no fly screens so you have to keep the windows and door shut (mosquitoes) but the split system A/C looks 50 years old and never cleaned. Borderline mouldy smell in rooms. No TVs. No fan.

Service - non existent, it’s like the people who work there are lounging about all day and working on the side. They also play loud music at night time which you hear through the night. There is nothing professional about this place.

Breakfast Buffet - easily the worst we’ve ever had. Was literally basic noodles, fried rice (not even kept warm, cooked then left in a tray) milk (long life milk, gets hot) cereal and lucky to get fruit and eggs. Most of the time we arrived it was all gone (arrived at 8.30), and they wouldn’t top up. You can only laugh when you see it. It is embarrassing how bad it is. It would be ok if the room was 50MYR a night.

View - amazing from the room if you get a room from the left hand side facing the water (right hand side looks into trees and a roof).

Summary - considering this place cost me 500 MYR a night in shoulder season, it deserves a 1/5 in consideration of the above.

I think 200 MYR a night might be fair. 500 MYR is a scam/ tourist trap.
