Nemo Chalet

If you want a safe, free, and easy vacation, this is the place.We felt very safe here, and we loved the warm gestures from the staff throughout our stay. Upon arrival, they have switched on the air conditioner so you can immediately rest after traveling on the boat.

The coral spot in front of the chalet is so beautiful that it has even become one of the most popular snorkeling spots for tourists. So by staying here and snorkeling here, you can enjoy and save a lot. The life vest and snorkeling gear can be rented here.

In the evening, you can kayak around the area to enjoy the view of the place.

They do not serve food here, but there are several nearby stalls within walking distance. You can even arrange for the stall to send the food to you for free, say for dinner, by paying upfront.

Trust me, we would love to come again and again to enjoy the beautiful golden sunrise with cheap food and warm hospitality in this fishermen's village area.

We got there around 6am and met Muhamed after around 45 minutes who checked us in early. The staff were lovely as was the feel of the place, even giving us free drinks on a couple of mornings when we were sat in the dining area. You could ask them anything and they would do all they could to assist, we extended our stay by a night and would definitely stay there again. The jetty out the front made for a good place for a refreshing dive into the ocean.

Compared to all the other accommodations on the island, this is the best we had. They actually DO clean the room, sheets and bathroom. The staff is extremely friendly (like most Malaysian people). The room has AC, a comfy bed and a nice little place to sit outside.

Still, what you get for the same amount of money in the western side of Malaysia is a ridiculous difference. But okay, it’s an Island what is a bit pushed by the government.

If you’re going to Nemo Chalet, you will have to take boat taxis to the other beaches as in that area as there are not really nice beaches to chill. Boat taxis are quite expensive. 15rm per person usually. When it’s dark it’s double price. And yes, I know what you think. 15rm is not really much. But calculate with 4 persons: 60(one way)+120(back in the evening) makes 180 per day. There are not really restaurants in that area, except for some ultra local places, so you have to go to Coral Bay or Long Beach. There’s a path going there, but calculate one hour for the trip and a bush full of overgrown plants. People don’t usually walk there.

Best sea view chalet with affordable price.cozy room with clean toilet n good wi-fi connection..no television,fridge n cafe shouldn't be big problems as we can enjoy local food in the nearby kampung.but don't be surprised if a bar of snickers cost u rm5 to rm7 😅😅😅

Great place to stay..a private jetty, private beach the cafe serves tasty food with reasonable price, room is comfy. The bathroom is clean and spacious. Snorkeling is great, this place is actually nemo point ,you dont even have to go anywhere else to snorkel. The view of sunrise is stunning! I love everything about this place!

need not to worry about food, because Fisherman's Village (Kampung Nelayan) is only 2-3 min walking distance.

they also have mini cafe at the chalet itself. there arent many tourist or other people here bcs it's not located at the tourist hotspot (it's longbeach) so you'll get to experience calm and the romantic ambience.

would probably stay at the same chalet on my next visit! cant get enough of this trip!

Very nice place, the room was clean and facing the sea. We stayed at the 2nd level where we can open the sliding door to watch the sunrise view in the morning. You can also snorkel at the beach area beside the jetty, there's lots of fishes and you can even spot several anemones with clownfishes (nemo), however most of the coral there is already dead. Since we went during the middle of the Islamic month (nisfu Syaaban), we saw the full moon at night, the overall effect is very romantic and picturesque, especially around 8pm when the moon is quite low in the sky. We relaxed on the wooden beach chair beside the chalet until 3am just listening to sea wave and sea breeze, it was very peaceful. Don't forget to bring mosquito repellent spray as well, otherwise your night musing will be unpleasantly interrupted..

It was easy dealing directly with the chalet. Hassle free and trusted. Room view is fantastic..the boss and the staff are all friendly and very helpful. What else can i say when i can get a very peaceful sleep accompanied by the sound of the wave. The beach is right infront of the chalet and they have a dock where u can snorkel and watch lots lots lots of clown fish (nemo) nests ..i had an amazing time spent here. located near the fishing village hence the easy access to cheap food supplies. Strongly recommend you guys to try this awesome chalet. The only chalet near fishing village that is very close to the beach. Very very close...price wise VERY AFFORDABLE! ROOM SPACE IS DECENT AND COMFORTABLE FOR 2 PERSONS. View...STUNNING. FACILITIES...THEY HAVE SNORKEL EQUIPMENT FOR RENT..WATER TAXI SERVICE...AIR CONDITIONED ROOM..CAFE IS TEMPORARILY OUT OF SERVICE BUT I BELIEVE THEY ARE GOING TO RE-OPEN IT SOON.

TOTALLY WORTH IT. VALUE FOR MONEY. TIME VERY WELL SPENT!!

We loved this place! Nemo really has the best location. It's a short hop to Keke beach which is a must for snorkelling, and to reach the bigger island (Perhentian Besar) easily. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and the room clean with excellent Wi-Fi and air con during our three days. The banana pancakes were the best for breakfast!

a very nice place with beach view right in front of the chalet and the toilet is very nice and super clean! just the room floor is a little sandy but apart from that everything is good here! p.s. it's called nemo chalet because there are tons of clown fishes in front of the chalet!!

Harga berbaloi. Lokasi dekat kampung pulau perhentian, maknanya, banyak kedai makan yang murah. Depan chalet sesuai untuk anak2 mandi dan terjun dari jetty terapung, sambil bagi ikan2 makan. Untuk dewasa boleh sewa mask snorkel rm5 & life jacket rm5, cari nemo di kawasan depan chalet. Pengalaman saya, jumpa banyak nemo, ikan coral reef (parrot fish, puffer fish, barracuda, trigger fish, black tip baby shark, etc). Coral tak secantik mana tapi berbaloilah sbb dapat tgk banyak jenis ikan. Family room ada 5 katil single, ada kettle. Takde TV, takde water heater, takde fridge. Service tip top.
