The Reef Chalets

Awesome chalet with great location and environment. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the location is near to food places, beaches, and sights.

Pulau Perhentian is a great place and the Reef makes it even better. Will definitely be back next year.

My family stay at the Reef Perhentian two weeks ago was a wonderful experience.

The beach front property chosen was best for our family of four.

The location is in within walking distance from everything. We can choose to go to white sandy beach in front of the Perhentian Islands Resort, or snorkeling with colorful fishes and watch Nemo's house in front of the Coral View Island Resort or discovering beautiful coral at the end of Mama's Chalet towards turtle point.

Since we only pay for the room, we have a choice to eat at the nearby chalets and resort restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner, or take taxi to the village on the Perhentian kecil island for lunch.

Our unplanned fishing trip with Abe Awi was fun and exciting. I would consider it as an adventurous fishing. We brought back about 15 kg squid and Mahi-mahi home. The Reef helps us freeze the fishes and squid and pack them for our flight home.

The snorkeling trip was also worth it. We were taken to four different spot for different snorkeling experience.

Overall it was superb.

The Reef Perhentian is a very clean and good chalet in Perhentian Besar. The staff is very good and friendly,they are very good on the island tips n a must visit spot. The room is huge and clean, its a wooden hut style shape chalet, so it will be so cold in the night. And the best thing is,this resort got many huge trees and it makes the ambience is very nice. It is located in front of kampung nelayan (other island) and also near to the famous long beach and it is only 10minute walk to Turtle point beach. To get a water taxi is simply cheap to other hot spot.

And if you a go person, kayaking to the other island is a very good option. You can simply snorkel and swim in front of the chalet, plenty of coral and fishes. The night sky here is wonderful,having dinner by the beach enjoying the breeze and the stars.

Had a wonderful experience here. Highly recommended. A place to repeat.

Beautiful place. Will definitely come back. We needed a break and we chose the right one this time. Georgeous front beach ovetlooking another island. Serene and peaceful. Acoomodation was comfortable and clean. Most of all its the service. Very hospitable. Hope to be back soon.

Our favourite place on Perhentian Besar. Cute, comfortable beach chalets. Near to 3 or 4 very good restaurants. Polite and friendly staff. Quiet, unless the owners have a music evening in the deck on a weekend.

Basic but very nice chalets under tree's. Close to Coral beach. Regular visitors are, Dusky Leaf Monkey and Flying Fox. Place to decompress.

Amazing place. Cheap prices for a bungalow in front of the beach. Good bed, a good shower and on the sand... paradise on earth.

A good island escape. Close to nature as the chalets nestled in between dense trees and the view is captivating.

Cool! Amazing place, nice rooms with private bathroom, AC and terrace. Few meters from beach.

ok.. cun.. chalet tepi pantai.. no komen.. mmng bagus.. persekitaran dijaga dgn baik..
cuma nak dapatkan air panas.. kena gi kat reception.. dgn bekas.. susah le sikit.. patut sediakanla mug ka .. senang nak amik bawak ke bilik..
kat reception tu patut jual le minuman tin ke.. minarel ke.. makanan segera.. snack..

Nous avions une chambre à l’étage Vue jardin avec eau froide. Chambre propre et refaite au milieu du séjour (changement de draps et de serviettes + ménage). Possibilité de prendre son petit déjeuner sur son balcon. Cuisine commune avec frigo, eau chaude. Beau jardin ombragé avec hamacs (varans, singes, écureuils) et emplacement top.

Las mejores cabañas de toda la isla, son básicas, pero tienen la mejor relación calidad/precio de la isla, y además están muy bien situadas con las playas mas bonitas a poco minutos andando y muchos restaurantes para poder elegir.
