Octo Diver Perhentian Island

We are a family of three and we had a great experience doing dives on three consecutive days at Octo Diver Perhentian. Sabrina was our wonderful guide. Everything felt professional, relaxed and the whole Octo Diver crew was very easy going. My wife had a little panic attack on the second dive and Sabrina handled that great, so that she was okay a few minutes later. Highly recommended when diving at Perhentian!

Wow what a great dive centre!!! Fred was the best dive instructor I could have wished for for my advance open water. Super professional, explained everything very clearly and calmly. Many thanks Fred for this great time!!!!I learnt a lot in these two days and was able to expand my knowledge and skills for diving. I can recommend this diving school 100%!

I can definitely recommend this dive shop :) I did my open water diver with Fred and he was such a good teacher. He explained everything really good, he’s very experienced and it was so fun learning how to dive with him. The whole crew was super friendly, always ready to help and experienced. I did a discovery dive and my open diver certification at octo diver center, and my boyfriend did his advanced diver license. The team is so nice and chill and khairul is a very good instructor ! They are all very patient, kind, and go step by step. We dived 3 days in a row with them and never in the same spot, we saw such beautiful wildlife ! So if you never dived before or even if you have more experience, i would 100% recommend octodiver center! Thank you guys for everything!

I been diving with Octodiver since I had obtained my open water certification, and perused my advance and rescue courses with them too. The dive crews are super friendly and knowledgeable. The instructors are passion and professional. The place is also save and suitable for those female solo who’s like to do diving courses or try/discover scuba before you decide to get certified. Female Muslimah instructor also available at Octodiver. I strongly recommend Octodiver if you plan to get any scuba diving certification.😊

Just been diving with then for a whole week and a total of 10 fun dives without repeating any divesite and it has been amazing.
They are professional and experienced divers and they will take very good care of you since the first moment.
The whole team is superfriendly and funny and they will welcome you as family. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to dive in this incredible Islands. 👌👌👌

I went there to refresh my advanced and do some fun dives. Khairul and his team were really professional and friendly.
They planned the diving schedule depend on the weather forecast which is great and optimal to go to the right spots 👍🏼

Great dive school. I completed my advanced open water course here. So friendly and the chalet I stayed in was perfect, a beautiful view of the beach. 100% recommend.

Absolutely welcoming dive centre with a good atmosphere. As a solo female traveler, this dive centre helped me feel safe and secure. The whole crew made me feel like home. Hence I keep coming back for the past 6 years! Woohoo!! Officially my go-to dive centre in Pulau Perhentian.

Octo Diver treasures safety first rather than ripping money off from your pocket. They’ll say No if they think it is dangerous. The equipment is clean, organized and well maintained.

A great place to learn Open Water Diving. Instructor Fred has good patience and he always ensure new diver fully understands the correct diving techniques and safety procedures. Fully recommends this diving centre for new divers and existing divers. I will come back for more dives.

This is my second time returning to Octodiver dive center within 7 months. A cozy dive center with friendly and superb DM Daus and instructors.

The dive center is situated on Perhentian Besar. Unlike those chalets in Perhentian Kecil, it offers quiet and serene environments. This is certainly a great place to spend your holidays.

My first dive experience with them was during September 2018, close to monsoon. Not many divers around the period but they did not reject you.. Even had a one to one dive experience with the instructor back then.

Came back again for two more dives a week ago. As usual, they provided superb dive experience and will even provided you underwater torch to ease your nemo finding.

I had tried two other dive centers from the same area before but Octo is certainly the place I want to stick with. Intend to spend more days on my next visit so I can make more dives with them.

Lovely dive center with kind and patient teachers. They are super friendly and go out of their way to make your experience with the classes the best it can be. Would definitely go dive there again and recommend others to do so as well!

Had a 5-day diving trip at Octo Diver and it has made the list of one of my favourite dive centres. The instructors were very accommodating, honest, down to earth and they adhered to very high standards when conducting their courses. My brother and his girlfriend took their Advanced Open Water and Open Water certifications this trip while I renewed my EFR certification and enjoyed beautiful fun dives. There are many dive sites to choose from and the experience was definitely memorable.

I especially appreciate how attentive the instructors (Fred, Sabrina and Khairul) were and they didn't just teach the course well but were very inspiring in the way they are as divers and people.

I felt very safe during the entire trip and would be confident travelling here on my own as a solo female traveller. In fact, I'm already making plans to complete my Divemaster here in 2024.

I highly recommend Octo Diver to new and experienced divers.

Strongly recommended! We had 3 very nice fun dives, they even shared us the pictures/videos they took from us during the last dive! If I ever come back to the Perhentian islands I will dive with them again with no hesitation! 👌🏼
