The beach was so beautiful and quiet. Water is so clear and sand is soft. You have to walk quite far though to be able to swim. I spent 2 hours here all by myself. Season is over. I’m staying in Perhentian islands 29.10.-1.11. and 99% of places are closed. It’s nice to get all the beaches ans attractions to myself. But it’s very difficult to find a place to serve food or even drinks😁

The beach is beautiful and clean. Sea water is very clear and you can see many fishes.

The waves is not strong, I would say quite calm here so it’s quite safe to swim/play around in the sea.

The beach sands are white and feels good to walk without slipper.

Many food stalls selling food and drinks at a reasonable price.

The beach is relatively calm and soothing. You can easily stroll around the beach for hours. However it is less happening and bustling compared to my last visit. Perhaps it’s due to Ramadan month currently hence no local performances around in the evening at the long beach. Some eateries are not operating as well.

The boat master recommends us to visit coral bay instead as more performances and activities are running and being organised there which is about 20 minutes walk from the jetty. Perhaps we could venture there one evening.

Plenty of scuba diving and snorkelling options available so do give them a visit and make sure you’ve deal a fair price before signing up as the pricing differs a lot in between them. Keep a watch out for those who charges additional fee for equipment rental as we nearly fall into that. I mean come on. We are taking a package for snorkelling and diving and how is that possibly not wanting the equipments along and requiring additional payment. Make sure to ask about what’s included and what is not.

You can easily sign up for one around the island generally or the day before and do take note of their departure times. Snorkelling day trip around RM70 (4hours) generally excluding lunch and basic diving for first timer ranges around RM190-250 (3.5 hours)

A return Ferry transfers trip to the Perhentian Kecil from Besut ferry terminal costs RM35.

And do bring cash as not many accept cards or local digital wallets.

Have fun and enjoy the serenity at the beach! Will definitely be back to this lovely island.

If you love nature and looking for a great sea view of Perhentian Island, this is must visit place. 20 minute easy hike up the hill bring you to a very nice view area. But too bad the place is not well maintained (as at 1 Feb 2022). Please watch your step while walking along the stairs.

Came on weekends and stayed at Aina Garden. It was very happening here, especially evening to night. They have mini fire show at 7:30PM and grand fire show at 10:30PM, almost every day. Everyone on this island is very friendly and lovely, I feel like home here.

Personally my favourite place ever. If you are a fan of diving, beach and swimming do not miss this. I can say that leaving there was one of the biggest dissappointments of my life! Lovely people. Party everynight. Dive party sleep repeat. We stayed at panorama hostel. It was phenomenal. The crew were f...ing awesome and the rooms were nice as well. Can't say enough and can't get enough. Stay 3 4 days at least. Up to one week or so might be perfection!
The food is not that good but you will survive for sure! Bad network coverage and no ATM. People from other beaches come to this beach at nights to party. I think this is the best beach there by far

Very beautiful beach. We went there using a boat service which was a another very interesting experience. We were able to cross the island as well. Just 10 mins walk. People in the island are trying to keep the island very clean and attractive. We were in tide schdule since we were not able to participate in any activity in this beautiful island. Recommend to stay here fir one or two days to have a great experience

Plenty of beach restaurants, resorrts, chalets as well as villas with great sea view. You can find several snorkeling service booths at affordable price.

A stunning beach. The sand and water is perfect. We stayed in high-season and it was not at all crowded, even at the weekend. There is enough there for a comfortable stay (toilets, shops), while maintaining the remote feel of an island beach. There is an incredible array of fish right at the shore, so snorkeling is highly recommended.

Great place to have fun and there are a lot of people there you can find whatever you want girls, man, shisha and even resturand and shops, the sea is crystal clear and there are so much of hotel to stay. However, the price sometimes kills you especially in holidays and during the ritual celebrations like Eid or Ramadan. It was really a great experience and I really enjoyed it and I hope to come back soon ❤

Long beach is the best place for me at Perhentian island for many reasons 1) there is many restaurants so u hv many choices for food 2) many mini market 3) fire show start at 9pm 4) everyday there is a party at 11:pm 5) many boat that u can rent for a reasonable amount 6) many hotels so if ur budget is low u can find good place and if u want luxury hotels also u can find.
