It was a great time at the island and D'Lagoon :)

Yes, the rooms are not that luxury, but don't forget you are on an island! So the rooms where totally fine and cozy! The bathroom isn't that bad, like many people recommended - it's pretty okay. In the night it's not that hot, so you don't need an air con. It's really quiet, only thing, you could here your room neighbours, because the walls are thin (but even this was okay).

One of the best things at D'Lagoon was the food - omg the food and the milk shakes/smoothies were delicious! The prices are very low, but the quality was super!

The position of the beach was great, because you could hike to turtle beach (sharks), the windmill (really exhausting in the sun), adam & eve beach and long beach (i don't recommend this beach, but there's a Taxi boat back for 30RM per boat). You can take a great snorkeling trip where you see turtles, sharks, a lot of fish and coral reefs.

The family, staff and Service was friendly and obliging. If you need something, they are there :)

So we recommend D'Lagoon to everyone who likes a quiet, relaxing place with nice people, good prices, super food and a beautiful beach!

Lovely place. Family run business with basic rooms and chalets, nice restaurant (large menu to choose from!) and quiet. Also a diving school is located at the place, so you won't have to travel to the other beaches. Thanks to all the staff for the nice week we had!

Amazing place, my favourite in my six weeks trip. So relaxed, great view from cheap rooms (around 8 euros per night for a double room). They provide mosquito nets for a little extra, which you will need. The sheets weren't the cleanest, but it didn't bother me that much. Cold showers, which is actually quite nice in the heat. We were there before the high season, that's maybe why it was so relaxed. Some nice beaches 5-15 min walk, we had them completely to ourselves. Snorkeling was great. Friendly staff, good and cheap food options, great place to just lie in the hammock and read a book and relax. Highly recommended!

This has been one of my favorite places I’ve stayed at so far. Perfect if you’re looking for a quiet, secluded, laid-back holiday as there are no resorts except for this one in the northern part of the island. Really good food, super friendly staff, wonderful snorkeling and diving and you can hike to so many beaches you most probably have to share with no one else PLUS a beautiful starry sky at night.
Since this place is not listed on AirBnb / Booking.com, just get the WhatsApp number off the website and text them about your intended stay!! :)

It is a secluded and merely a private beach surrounded by lush greenery trees and shrubs. Just nice for me who just need a place to sleep after having fun at the sea.
It's just a simple chalet with basic accommodation that you might get everywhere else but one thing that make it different is the view from each room. Most of the rooms are facing the sea. You have a few options to choose from.
I prefer to stay at the standard attached bath (wall fan). It costs me RM100 per night. I just need the room to sleep. It is because most of the time I'll be engaged with diving. I think this place is worth to stay because you don't need to take a boat for diving or snorkeling. You just need to wear suitable attire and equipment, that's it.. the snorkeling/dive site is just right in front of you. Beautiful corals, colourful fish and other marine life and calm environment.

Excellent for family! Nice and quite. Isolated from other parts of the island. Wonderful beaches nearby. Short trek possible to Adam&Eve, Landing and Turtle beach. Crew is wonderful. Strongly recommend this place.

Lovely hostel/resort with it's own beach. Incredibly good value, I spent 5 days & 4 nights here in the dormatory (20 ringgits/night), and spent around 400 ringgits, including food, renting a snorkel & flippers for 2 days & ordering a whole bbq fish for dinner on my last night. The staff are friendly & helpfull & it's a proper mom & pop business. The dorm is very basic, but the door opens onto the beach, so the sound of the waves & sea breeze come into the room. Private cabins are also available at higher rates, some with AC. Long beach is a 45-60 min walk from the resort, with approx half through the jungle, where there is fire dancing every night at 10pm, as well as a few shops, and the usual tourist fare. I recommend snorkelling at turtle beach, which is a 10 minute walk through the forest, and is too shallow/rocky for the tourist boats to reach. I saw all sorts of interesting species there including baby sharks.

It is a family business. They are all very kind and friendly. Very nice stay. You just can swin to their dive site. Baby sharks by the shore. A lot of bumphead parrot fish. Nice corals. You can get all these just by snorkeling 5 meters for the beach

Amazing backpacker hostel/homestay with own lagoon. It's a great snorkeling & diving spot easily reachable from the beach. Furthermore zipline, banana boat, snorkeling trips, dive shop and restaurant :)
Different types of rooms (deluxe, standard, dormitory) - only cold showers, but no problem at all.
Very friendly and helpful staff :)
Many nice details like sweet little rabbits to pet, squirrels fed with coconut, many hammocks and beach chairs, swing,....

In exchange for simplicity and the warmest welcome of the owner family you get to stay at a place that deserves the name paradise. Yes, huts are simple but staff makes you feel valued, welcomed and helps in any way if needed. The food is good and the location prime. Great diving - the diving place attached has seen better times in terms of staff but equipment is safe and dive sites are the killer. Recommended!

Lovely, quiet & tranquil holiday resort. If you want a peaceful holiday, this is the place. Can take a walk to the other side of the island and even to long beach of you want to see the more commercial side. Would love to come back and enjoy the hammocks, gazebos and swings and feel like a child again! To add, great local food!

D'Lagoon is just a quiet and nice location on the small perhentian island. To be honest, I already had cleaner accomodation and the rooms are a litte bit run down. Why the five stars then?

It's just a great place to relax, the stuff partially seems to be grumpy in the beginning but are really great guys, helpful and a lot of fun to!

Other beaches are just in walking distance if you want to have a change, however snorkeling is great at D'Lagoon's own beach. You can see a lot of parrotfish, sharks, singrays, bumphead parrotfish...

Just next to the beach you see flying squirrels and really huge Monitor lizards. Great expierience!

We stood there nearly 2 weeks and just loved it. So if you can handle holes in the wall, not so clean rooms and typicaly malaysian toilets you will just have a great time here!

Great 3D2N leisure experience in D Lagoon. If you seek for serene peace with your love ones at a quiet place, here is definitely the right place! Isolated from other resort, this is a private beach resort with humble malay family with halal food. Affortable ala carte meals serve daily!

If you are diver, come here! You'll enjoyed alot from ART! With decades of master diver experience, he can share his experience and show you his amazing underwater photos from the sea!

What a wonderful time at this little hidden place! If you are looking for the chillest place in Perhenrian Kecil this might be your place. A family run business, away from the fuss of boats and generators in Long Beach, with its own private beach. There is nothing else around (that's the best part), but you can always take a taxi boat to other beaches. Pick up service is offered by diving schools if that's in your plans and you're worried about being far from them. Also, it was by far the cheapest place in the island. Don't expect anything party or anything fancy, dorms are basic, internet is limited... This is a place to relax and do... nothing!

Amazing spot to snorkel, nice beach and friendly staff. There are multiple dorms, bungalows and rooms available. As well there is a restaurant and a taxi service to long beach. The swim from long beach to do lagoon takes 25min with fins. The walk by land takes 1 hour.

far from noise of bars
room with Aircond are limited
the lagoon tuck away from busy boats traffic
the place is quite calm and relax
the beach filled with broken dead corals so better wear slippers and avoid walking barefoot
love it for its tranquility, shallow reefs and marine life encounters.

Very friendly staff, delicious food avaliable and lots of activities can be done here, including flying fox, I have tried jungle tracking to wind mill and long beach the track and path are easy to follow. For freedivers there are many places around the lagoon suitable for deep dive and cave dive through. The lagoon provides a smooth swimming session, for more challenge I swim from the lagoon to wind mill and back, swim around plus some junggle tracking back to D'Lagoon.
